it is usually a symptom of yeast candida, do some googling on (Yeast candida in dogs). yeast can be a real problem with your dogs health a nd well being.

i have read and heard from vet they can make the dogs even hotter being wet like that. Vet said it smashes down their fur which will help them to retain heat?

peas, potatoes and sweet potatoes are not good when there are yeast issues if I remember correctly
