Re: Sneaky's latest ordeal

Awww.... the two girls look like twins with their matching Elizabethan collars! At work we used to call dogs with those soft cones "Puppy flowers"... because the looked like the paper flowers you make in school as a kid. Socks are great. Taffy wore a sock for quite some time too, after her...

Re: Good Lord, anything else at this time?

Just tell me where to send the $$$. If it weren't for "last chances" I wouldn't have my dog. She was a day away from getting the needle when I stepped up and said "yes" to one last ditch cry for help. So I'm all for last chances, regardless of if ultimately it works or not. (She'...

Re: Good Lord, anything else at this time?

I could donate too and continue to donate a bit each paycheck but I don't think Val is making her decision based soley on money. I wish I could be a good enough home for Zoey but I'm not that either. It is just so sad. I'd be willing to donate as well. I've got some coin saved up in paypal I could ...

Re: IMHA

No advice, but good wishes sent. We gve a couple of cars of IMHA a year at the clinic where I work, and all of them have survived. Yeah, I used to see IMHA animals all the time where I was working (more dogs than cats tho'). Some more worse off than others. Most recovered, albeit some took a lot lo...

Re: Taff's got vesicles on her vulva! :(

I can imagine that's not going to feel very good... I hope they're going to numb the area first. Owie... There's a white-head forming on the one blister/vesicle. Maybe it's a gnarly pimple brought on by allergies? I dunno. I hope they go away on their own in the next couple of days, if not I'll have...

Taff's got vesicles on her vulva! :(

I noticed her licking her vulva a lot more than usual today... thinking it might be an ingrown hair (which she's had in the past), I checked it out. She's got two fair sized vesicles on her vulva.... one on the outside, and one on the inside "lip" that folds in... I'm trying not to panic. ...

Re: Need a new crate

I have a second hand crate that's in great shape still... it was my Mother's dog's crate when he was a puppy, so it's well over ten years old, and I used it for Taffy when I first got her. Other than being rusty a little where parts rub when it's being collapsed, it's still perfectly useable. It's a...

Re: Hot spot advice

Taffy's doing much better. The spot is not weeping, swollen, or moist anymore. Thankfully the spot isn't reachable and there are no other dogs in the house that might lick it... and she's not tried scratching it since early yesterday. I think I caught it in time. (I posted a photo of it in the galle...
