She is a sweety...and definitely startles easily. On the drive back I rolled the windows down to get some fresh air and she got scared and tried to crawl into the back seat (yes, I rolled them back up). But, definitely not worried about fear aggression...she seems to just not have been exposed to mu...

I love Cricket...I just can't get over her squishy, squishy face! Is there something wrong with me? I see the puppies and have no desire to have a puppy, but I want the mama dog sooooo bad! Then again, I have a little spot in my heart for all mama dogs...having to raise litters, watch their babies g...

Yeah...they are one of the few pit bull friendly shelters around. I would reccomend going through a rescue group over most shelters though, since they have specific breed knowledge that the shelter might not. That being said, I've not been to the Seattle shelter so the pit bull expert of them all ma...

While I'd agree on the Ontario dogs, there are also plenty of local dogs needing help to. Check out pitbullproject.org (Pit Bull Project, based in Seattle) and http://www.workingpitbull.com/recycle-a-bull.htm (Recycle-A-Bull, based in Olympia/Seattle). You can also go to pbrc.net, go to available do...

Most people are too ignorant ore selfish or cheap or (insert adjective here) to change, so they leave. There are only a couple that ...

Well, if he was neutered you wouldn't have to worry about lop-sided balls! For real though, doggy balls aren't like people balls...they don't necessarily sit side by side dude. (I can barely keep from laughing at how ridiculous this is) Pit bulls aren't necessarily wide, esp. not in the re...

I'm thinking of giving her (my friend) an ultimatum (she's DYING to get out and get a place on her own again after she had to move back in with her mom when her previous roomie turned out to be, shall we say, unreliable): I will only get a place with you IF it allows pit bulls AND I can foster/adopt...

You know Jamie, when I met Cricket I thought, "This dog will make someone like Jamie the most awesome dog - nearly trouble free, trainable, tiny, squishy, friendly with future fosters..." REALLY, I thought this very thing... :)) BTW, you should open that bottle of barcardi and think about this more...

Why don't you go save some chickens from the frying pan. They feel pain too. Uhhh...pretty sure the chickens are dead before I start frying them (although I prefer to bake to lower the fat added in the cooking process). How the hell do you cook? It's very clear to me that you have absolutely no exp...

Here's the key difference Magnum: Police violating rights = we get screwed, no good outcome at all (except maybe a few dollars in the city's pockets. Police not violating rights = all good (duh) Humane societies "violating rights" = dogs get placed in good homes. New owners (or potential owners) may...

Oh my GOD she's gorgeous! (Reminds me of Miles' squishy face a bit...I considering taking him myself for a few seconds before reality set in...GOD he was adorable!)

I swear, God hates me. All these adorable, small black bullies that I CAN'T SAVE RIGHT NOW. GRRRRRRR
