Man, I feel for you. I really, really do. My next dog is going to be my jogging buddy too, and having something like this turn up has been one of my biggest fears. I'm actually close to asking to get x-rays on the few dogs I am considering. If I weren't nickle-and-diming to save money to move out I'...

I'm interested in he and his dog and if anything it's a lesson learned that dogs need more time in fosters to really "show their true colors" before being adopted out. That is not a personal attack but an observation, please take it as such. That is strange. I remember an "English bu...

Well, on the plus side, it's nice to know puppies with HER temperament are running around as opposed to some of our less sound bully friends, eh?

She's *gorgeous* :inlove:

I contacted them once just wanting some info about a dog and how they work with rescues and they said they are very rescue friendly. They also said that (supposedly) they don't euthanize for space. I say just contact them and go from there.

And it's illegal to bring them back to Ontario. Right thats why when we send out prohibited dogs you are at the mercy of the other rescues ethics- not something we will do again EXCEPT with a select few rescues who we know personally. :frown: It completely breaks my heart that a few bad apples have...

Might be a good idea to freeze it first (especially if it is wild) if it's not already frozen to kill off any parasites that might be in the meat though.

Nice ACO. It's for the best? For WHO???

I'd agree she looks like a shephardy bully mix...she's GORGEOUS!!!! Her little face is way too cute...hopefully after she gets healthy again she'll be scooped up real quick by a family who will adore her like she deserves to be.

In a few months you could have probably suckered me into it. lol :frown: I might go the selfish way and adopt instead of foster though...my lifestyle is going to be *crazy* and I'm not sure many dogs would hold up to it...let alone foster dogs who need stability, rather than the insanity I could so ...

And my point was if this had nothing to do with Tucker or my decision to pull this could have been made another thread.... yet the madness continues. How is this madness? It's a discussion that evolved from the fact that the pup was described has having some sort of fear issues. Someone questioned ...

I think sometimes we forget that pit bulls are dogs too. Yes, they should be bombproof, and yes, genetics determine the better part of a dogs temperament. But, pit bulls, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BREED, can learn behaviors too. Sadly we live in a world where there is only perfection or termination of th...
