Re: Personality change after spay?

I didn't mean to sound like a know it all or discount your question - and I do not have experience with a lot of dogs - but with my dog and everything I've read and seen, there was no change. I get annoyed with people whose dogs gain weight after spay (and they blame it on the speuter) because they ...

Re: Personality change after spay?

That is a silly question - they don't gain weight or change personalities short of normal growth-related changes! Yes, they may be less aggressive and may mark less but the dog you know and love doesn't change just because it's speutered.

Re: Aggression issue with Will

No dog-related advice but I have heard of that happening with Parkinson's Disease medication for people re being different enough to feel from brand to brand or generic manufacturer.

Re: My dog is peeing on my couch

That may be your best bet for a few months ++....?!? Ugh sorry you are dealing with that - I don't have a lot of patience with htat but also don't understand all of the nuances like how you 'might' have helped 'set' that pattern if you had anything to do with that at all.... very frustrating indeed...

In the meantime, buy some inexpensive throw rugs and help him by making a trail. I have that from our bedroom hall thru the kitchen for my girl.

Re: California Natural vs. Fromm

I was afraid you would say that, Misskiwi............ I used to use the Whitefish formula and it's 12% or maybe 14% tops. Their Gold Weight Management is 10%. I have since switched my pancreatitis candidate to a raw diet, because I can control exactly how much fat she is really getting. I do feed ra...

Re: California Natural vs. Fromm

I just bought our first bag of Fromm g/f and gave myself a headache by spending a freaking hour in the dog food isle.... doh Didn't notice until I got home and decantered the bag that it's freaking 19% fat!!!! Now I'm concerned since Ruby had a mild bout of pancreatitis over a month ago tho was clea...

I'm lucky with my girl so I don't have experience with that but I suspect its a magical maturity thing that you just have to wait out.... Bed cuddles are the best but not when you have a midnight marauder!

Re: Sprain leg - Anyone with experience?

I would think a sprain would hurt for a week at least - could it be arthritis setting in?
