Welcome aboard. AmBullies are not my style by any means, but I also wanted to extend my compliments. You seem to have a brain in your head, and are open to sensible discussion and constructive criticism. The AmBully needs more people like you who are actually interested in improving the breed, and w...

There are good all-life formulas available, too. I raised our young dogs on Canidae, back when it was a little better than it is now. No need to transition. Personally, the one time I fed Pro Plan, our dog looked horrible. We kept moving up the food ladder and haven't looked back. If you check out h...

For what it's worth, we're on our 2nd bag of Taste of the Wild (after leaving Canidae and giving up on Nature's Variety because it was too expensive), and no issues to speak of. We like it a lot. The humans and the dogs.

I think OFA and PennHIP look at different things. Most people don't get both, but it probably wouldn't hurt if you can afford it.

Almost though our first bag of TOTW Wetlands. No problems thus far, and better poops than on Canidae.

It can be hard for the mods to keep up with everybody. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll get dealt with. And welcome!

Hives from apparently eating a wasp. She was treated with steroids and they eventually went away.

Just bumping to keep this near the top. Some fairly decisive results so far, and I'd like to get as many applicable votes as possible.

My dogs weren't sick per se. But I feel like a dog who has been eating a food for two bags should have had ample time to adjust. My dogs never adjusted. They continued to have loose, yellow stools. If I wanted huge sloppy poop, I could feed them something from Wal-Mart. One of the benefits of feedin...

Good answers everyone. If the results bear repeating, might be something I can forward to Canidae just to let them know how they're doing.

You can do the limited reg for UKC, maybe AKC too if you don't mind calling her an AmStaff. And of course, there's always the CGC which requires no registration. Laura and I have been talking for a while about trying to get a TT test down here. I volunteered myself and Lonney to run stations as long...

Denise, my dogs are doing well on it. Their poo is a little lighter, but not even a problem. Still nice and firm for the most part. And everything else is good, too. We've only been feeding it for maybe a week, maybe a little more, but so far so good.
