Re: Handmade Hemp Macrame Collars

I love it! Someone I know made a collar for their dog and I was super jealous. If we were closer, I'd ask her to make me one but we are not the greatest of friends...

If I had some extra money laying around, I'd be all over that for Emily.

:) I'm very happy for everyone and I think we need pictures. Of course, after the news is posted to PBF.

Re: Found this guy today...

Not only is ringworm easily transfered to your other pets, you need to be on the lookout yourself. Wash your hands after messing with the pup. 10 years ago when I got my cat, the whole family got ringworm, all the people and dogs too. Please put up vauge signs [Found male dog - call to describe] in ...

You're the first person I've heard this from. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Hmm... Mine is for a Yorkie mix so we'll see. :) I've yet to recieve them.

Re: elevated feeder

That is gorgeous! I've been looking for a reasonably priced elevated feeder doesn't have to have a water side for my Great Dane. On the Dane forum I'm on, it seems that everyone suggest at least an 18" feeder to lessen bloat. It was already mentioned but it is a serious problem with the breed. ...

Re: good, durable collars?

I love my Stillwater collar! I actually bought it from a dog show so I don't have any experience with ordering from the site. It is a 2" 3 ply yellow collar. The quality is amazing for the price, I think it was like $9. My only complaint is that it's to wide for my dog's neck but that's not Sti...

Re: poppymart

I bid on a few items but was out of town Sun/Mon and it ended. I'm sad I didn't win anything. :( I really wanted the Blocky Dogs GC and the Ella's Lead GC.

Re: Keeping the Water Bowl Clean

The only solution I know of is to wash it often. I work at a shelter and we have to wash the water bowls almost every other day because they grow green algae so quickly.

Re: Where to buy TOTW

Yes, I've been looking for it but they don't carry it in any of the stores I've been in. A lot of Dane people have suggested it. Maybe Pet Supplies Plus could special order it. I'll have to ask next time I go in. In the mean time, I'll look for it on the websites already mentioned.

Re: Where to buy TOTW

Yes, I've been looking at other foods too. Thus far, my dogs have done really well on TOTW and I switched them before I knew that I was losing my job. I hate to switch them again. It's cleared up all of their allergies. I'm still looking around though.

Yeah, it's a tad to small for my girl too. I already have that lead. I like it a lot!

Where to buy TOTW

I recently switched my dogs to TOTW. I'm looking to get the best deal on the food as I just lost my job (thank you economy)! Right now I'm having to drive about 45 minutes to get it cheaper or I can get it at my local TSC for about $47. It's almost worth paying more per bag so I don't have to spend ...

Re: My shelter is closing... (Long!)

ALL OF THE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN PLACED! Several rescues volunteered to take a few dogs. They said if they didn't get placed then they would take them. We placed every single dog in a home, with the exception of Jethro who really needs the coonhound rescue and someone who knows his breed. All the cats ...
