Re: I need some level headed advice.

Do I want to? Yes. Can I afford one? Probably not. Internet searches are not paying off... well, unless I want to drive 3+ hours. My schedule does not allow for that. Stormi is trying to find someone closer to me. It's so easy to pretend that this didn't happen. I spent two hours crying my eyes out....

Re: I need some level headed advice.

I'm very grateful for everything so far and thanks for the PMs. Something that eats at me is that it isn't that I'm just going through this once... This is the second dog now. I feel like I'm doing something wrong as an owner and I just don't know what. Well, maybe I do. It would be lack of socializ...

I've never heard of it. I guess I can do a MapQuest search.

Edit... looks like a 4 hour drive.

I need some level headed advice.

I'll just get straight to the point I guess.... Emily is a less than stable dog. I knew that from almost day one. I've done my best to manage her behavior but like everyone, I'm only human and I make mistakes. Today, while driving through town, I was stopped at a stop light. I had both dogs in the t...

She went home on Tuesday. So far, so good. We'll call in a month to do our post adoption check up. :)

Re: Pretty blue brindle girl - IN

Alice has a hold on her. She's getting spayed tomorrow and going home Saturday, hopefully. I'm not to hip on the guys that got her but they seem decent. Said they took their old dog for 16 mile walks all the time. We'll see...

Love the idea. I tried this last time we had a trick thread. It was awesome.

Re: March Trick of the Month: Army crawl

Emily already knows how to "crawl." I really wish I was able to video tape her because she doesn't really crawl. She hops (just like she walks) only she's crouched down. It's soo freaking cute.

Re: Roxy Roo - IN

Updates! Roxy's twitching is caused by a pinched sciatic nerve. She's being "fostered" by my co-worker Nicci. She's loved Roxy since the day they picked her up. Because of her issues with strangers, Nicci's boyfriend was refusing to let her come home. He finally gave in and now Roxy is liv...

Re: Pretty blue brindle girl - IN

Miss Alice is still at the shelter. We've recently found out that she is a bit fearful when you have something in your hand. She acts likes she's been hit before. She's super smart. She can open almost any outside gate or inside door. She hates cats and is very dominant with other dogs. She's a bit ...

Re: Roxy Roo - IN

This pretty girl still needs a pit bull knowledgable home.

Roxy has developed a strange twitching. It doesn't seem to effect her it just bothers us humans. It's neurological and she's going in to the vet soon to see what they say about it. She still isn't the best to be around strangers.
