I've had people double check this and it seems very functional. Could your work Network Admin be blocking access to ports? The 7777 at the end of the address is a specific port in my network at home. Alternatively, you can try http://76.66.202.132:7777 This is my IP routed the the camera. If all of ...

To Those Interested, Paris is LIVE!

Hey everyone. I set up a nice wireless IP camera in my house and forwarded a port to be able to access it wherever I am. It is the first time I hooked up a kennel to Paris's crate, so I wanted to monitor her activities. So far I am not too happy because she has not left her crate. Maybe she is just ...

Sorry for the triple post, but to make matters more creative, I think I'll be moving her crate on a daily basis to connect it with the Kennel. Like that she can chill out in her crate and when she feels like a stretch or her bone, she can walk out into her own yard. The only downside is more work fo...

So I did it and bought me (well her) a nice 48 inch 5' diameter Precision Kennel. It cost me $140 and it is HUGE. Now the issue that I had not considered. I have hardwood floor and this thing can be easily moved by her. However, Paris never tried to escape out of her crate. I am just wondering what ...

My dog sniffs everything, and I mean everything. It doesn't bother me much though cause I guess thats the first of the senses they are born with.

To them sniffing is extremely important. They sniff 40x better than humans lol.

It's really good that you set the ground rules. Teach your children how to respect the dogs and they will be respected as well.

I would also educate the kids as much as possible about dogs in general; whats acceptable, what's not and definitely be consistent! Great job!

Did you try putting litter box RIGHT where she pees? If you can't, then block it with something and maybe you could use pads to put inside the litter box?

Thanks for all the responses. So basically she does not seem unhappy at all. She just doesn't love it. When I start putting on my jacket to leave (without grabbing the leash), she automatically goes in the crate and it breaks my heart. I know it's silly, but thats how I feel about it. She is crated ...

Looking for a crating alternative!

I have been thinking that it really must suck for my dog to be crated for around 7 hours a day while I am at work. Her crate is the normal sized crate, one that is for a small/medium sized APBT. I still do not feel that it's safe for me to leave her all alone by herself. She does get her exercise, b...

You know, this is one of the topics I am still trying to understand. What I figured out is that it helps so much to learn dog body language and I swear by it. Even with all the books I read, the research I have done, I still can not pin point a greet gone bad. So many times I've been greeted by off-...

You are going through the pain that I went through hahaha. Actually, you are going through EXACTLY the same pain I went through. Paris was uncontrollable during agility. Like you said, she would blow through obstacles at full speed, which is not good. Solution? I gave her a nice amount of exercise b...
