You have a pic? Maybe take a pic and post it! Was she on freshly cut grass? Did you rinse her extra? What type of shampoo do you use...Trying to think of what else it could be. I would reccomend a rolled leather collar, they are good for dogs that get rashes easily. If you dont know what that looks...

RASH?!

My 9wk old pit has what appears to be a rash on her neck and under her jaw. They're redish bumps and she's been scratching at her neck--and i didn't know why until i took her collar off and looked at her neck. My poor baby. I dont know why she has it. We just gave her a bath earlier today and ...

"If your dog has kidney troubles or the breed is known to be prone to kidney disease, omit the flax and stick with the fish."

So are pits prone to kidney disease? I'm guessing NO since so many of you give flax see oil to your dogs. But i'd like to just make sure.

I haven't started giving my two girls any supplements yet but would like to start doing that soon. Is it ok to give Nova glucosamine chondroitin at a young age (9wks)? I know her parents had a good temperment but i dont know if they had any problems w/ their joints or not. So i want to be preventati...

Yes, our male sheperd has one of those on his elbow. It moves around, its very dry, its gray/scaly and pink where the gray/scaly area stops. It's also squishy and it just dangles there. It is sort of like a wart, but looks more like a deformed mushroom head on fonzies elbow. It's nothing to worry ab...

Sorry if this is a bit off topic. For my bealge, snickers, when she was a puppy, the vet said to feed her as much as she could eat. So its ok if i do the same w/ Nova? I dont want her to gain unnecessary weight and have that bother or irritate her joints.. since i hear that happens. On the Pro Plan ...

Nova was like that in the beginning too.. sleeping a lot and not eating very much--now she eats more and she plays more.. I think it took her a while to get used to the crate/play/eat schedule we have going on here. :))

that happened w/ my beagle. Your dog may have allergies to something in the air.. pollen...etc.. snickers had the same problem. The vet also told me she just may be scared. Maybe your dog relates car rides w/ the vet?? Snickers did for a while...made her nose run and she drooled a LOT.
