Piper Ann gets a jacket put on her whenever I wear a jacket outside-but she's got a really thin coat and is kind of a wuss. Riley gets his jacket whenever it's below freezing or when it's cold/windy out and we're going to be out for a while. I would think that if you dog doesn't seem to be bothered ...

Piper and Riley go through the bully sticks pretty quickly, too. I've never really noticed a smell, either (at least none any worse than other raw hides)-maybe they eat them too fast to smell!

I had Riley and Piper Ann on the Wellness Core for about one bag (three weeks, give or take), and boy, I haven't disliked a dog food so much since I fed Science Diet that one time. The dogs poops were firm, but there was so much of it! Poop all the time-pretty much everytime they went outside. And ...

It could be either/or, or a combination of both. You could try switching the food to see if that's it-it's not like there aren't plenty of other good quality foods out there. Piper Ann usually gets flakey skin in the winter, so she gets flaxseed oil or fish oil added to her food, and that cleans up ...

What a sweet face. I wish I could take him-I need a new project dog, but I don't think the landlord would go for it. He's really tugging at my heart strings, though. I've looked at his picture about 6 times since I first saw it a couple of hours ago. Poor baby. Good luck with your decision, sometime...

Getting vaccinated for kennel cough is also kinda like people getting vaccinated for the flu-it covers the animal for the worse/most common forms of the bug, but there are other forms out there that aren't covered. Immune systems in older dogs also tend to be a little weaker, and sometimes the vacci...

I like CS as a dog food over all, but you should be aware that they did recall their puppy and kitten foods a few weeks ago (not sure if it was the hard or soft or both?). Otherwise, I have no qualms against feeding it-it's what I usually feed my fosters because it's cheap but still of reasonably go...

I see shepard/pittie, too. She doesn't look to me like a bait dog. My hometown was a bit of a dump site for the fighting rings in the cities, and I am would have to say I agree with Amy-if she had been a bait dog, there'd be a lot less of her. If she's really hot like you describe, it could be that ...

"Soliciting" as in trying to adopt out, or "soliciting" as in trying to get people to surrender? If they were tyring to get people to give them dogs, then, yeah, I'd be a bit suspicious. But I know several foster families who post their fosters on craigslist to try and get more i...
