Welcome to the forum! I'm no expert, but he looks like an APBT to me. Maybe you should post some pictures of him standing up/from the side and tell us how much he weighs. Someone else on here (there's a lot of very knowledgeable people on this forum) will be able to tell you more certainly! :) Gorge...

Naughty Buster!

So a couple of days ago Buster ate a chicken wing (cooked) off of the kitchen table. I freaked out and made sure to monitor him for bloody stools or anything, but the bones passed fine - it's been about 4 days and he seems to be ok. Is there something else I should do? If he hasn't had bloody stools...

Oneluckygirl, does the rescue know your other half is in the military and therefore you might relocate often? I can't say if the dog doesn't like traveling but it isn't going to stop us from taking one in just because of it. We travel but we are not the family that makes irrational decisions, at le...

Orbee...

So I want to get Buster an Orbee since he's ball-obsessed but breaks tennis balls within the first 5 minutes and I haven't found anything else that will last. I read in one of the threads about the destruction of an orbee - has anyone else had this issue? Oh, and where do you guys buy your orbees? T...

Kira watches this when it's on too! She perks up and sits in front of the tv, especially when there are "barky" cases. lol And I love Daddy too.. :inlove: While I won't go into his methods being right or wrong, I do have to give him tons o' credit for portraying pitties as "dogs firs...

He started marking?

So Buster is over 2 years old and was neutered at 8 months. He's never been a marker - he could go for a 2 - 3 mile run and he'd just relieve himself at the end of the run. Same with the walks, he wouldn't mark, just relieve himself at the end. Last night we went for a run in the woods and he marked...

Just as an update, once my husband had been gone for about a month, Buster went back to being his old self - he must have had an adjustment period or something. Anyhow, his Daddy is back now and he is far more tolerant of Jed. So while this is awesome, because they can behave around each ...

Good point about separating the cats and dog while it dries. I can atest to the power of Advantix - Buster used to get eaten ALIVE by them, but it really does repel it better than using any kind of Off. I also read somewhere that using Off can clog their pores.
