So, Who Likes Chocolate? **Lots of pics!**

Take a lookie at Ms. Juno! Juno is probably between 18 and 24 months of age. She was picked up as a stray. She's sweet as pie and a BUSY girl! She's very active and loves the water hose (still working on getting a video of that!) If anyone out there is looking for an active dog, Juno is your girl! W...

I understand your concerns, however if someone doesn't stand up for these dogs and report the owners, nothing will be done. If anything can be done, it has to be done legally which means filing a complaint about their care. I second this. People need to be held accountable for their actions and the...

Oh wow! She is a looker! Just remind yourself that same sex pairings usually don't work out well and if you know Nala is DA, I wouldn't risk it. BUT, you can help her out by crossposting about her to people you know who might be interested or know of someone who might be interested.

Good luck pup!

We got her! :headbang: We found a wonderful foster home for her and went and temperament tested her yesterday. She is such a LOVE and I admittedly wish she came to my house instead. I can almost guarantee she wouldn't have left though. She's good with everybody! She needs a little bit of a confidenc...

We tried bringing her out with my two who were very interested but we kept them in a down-stay. The pup timidly walked away from them and laid down with her eyes averted. She didn't show any further aggression but was clearly not interested in interacting. We didn't want to stress her out too much w...

Wegobad, I can totally agree with you there. That and tell a puppy to stop playin' lol. But, being that they are puppies, they do generally sleep a lot more than adults too. I'd be interested in hearing pretty much anything at this point to figure out how to best approach this. I had the puppies for...

Fear Induced Dog Aggression in Puppy

We recently brought in three littermates who are around 10-12 weeks old. When I first took the pups to their foster home, one of the pups immediately threw her belly in the air and submitted to the adult dog of the house. It's been about 5 days. I'm puppy sitting tonight since she had to run out of ...

Three's Company - Pups! Pic Heavy!!!!

New Hope Pit Bull Rescue was contacted about three young pittie pups who were surrendered to the shelter because their owner was in the hospital with severe brain injuries :frown: We aren't sure we really want to know the details of that situation. We found a great foster home with a slew of animals...

What about no dogs on furniture when the young kids are around? I know some don't buy into the pack mentality thing, but if Emma was on the couch and Robert was walking around on the floor, Emma was in a "higher" position than him. Maybe Robert unknowingly "threatened" her "...

Good luck girly and if ya wanna talk, you know how to find me.

What about an increased about of stress? Stress will cause hives too. That is understandable, but I don't think there has been an increase in stress. It would seem that he has a pretty stress-free situation. He had a band of these bumps before our camping trip which got worse when we returned. The ...
