Re: Dozer's Vet Visit- not good

He wagged his tail at me this morning, but isn't ready to get up and go outside just yet. He usually sleeps in anyway I suppose. He slept on his dog bed next to my side of the bed all night, and I made sure he was covered with a sheet bc he gets so cold so easily. My little boy. I hope he will be ok...

Re: Dozer's Vet Visit- not good

He is home. He is so uncomfortable and pathetic :( . He is crying, and can't get situated. He peed outside for almost 5 minutes. There are three places on him shaved, and stitched, and about _______________________________________ long a piece. I will get pictures once he is resting comfortably. My ...

Re: Dozer's Vet Visit- not good

My sister just called me and said "we just got him pre-medicated" and asked if she could microchip him. I said of course. I've been meaning to do that anyway! He hasn't been anesthetized since he was 4 mo. old and was neutered. The vet is sending off 1 of the tumors. The one from his tail....

Re: Mast Cell Tumors : Lessons Learned

Dozer is having 3 pea sized tumors removed as we speak. Unfortunately I was bad and didnt get "before" pictures, but I will be sure to keep you updated on the progress. The blood work came back fine, but the aspiration from the tumor itself showed strange cells which is why he wants to sen...

Dozer's Vet Visit- not good

I made Wub an appt. Wednesday evening. The vet wants to remove the bump on his tail, and also on his head. He aspirated the one on his tail and looked at the cells on a slide. He said they dont seem too alarming, but abnormal enough to remove the bumps and send them off to make sure they are not mal...

Re: Ati has hives!

Koda went to a friends house over the weekend and came home with these exact hives. She was unattended , and tied up for a couple of hours. The bf could still watch her from the window, and she of course wanted to be inside. I thought at first mosquito bites, but some of the welps are much fatter th...

Re: Tell me about CET chews

My Mom used to get CET chews from the vet clinic for Dozer. He would scarf them down in about 15 minutes, and usually choke on it. I told her not to give them to him about the 2nd time I saw him gagging from trying to swallow it whole... :mmm:

Re: Leash biter

My bf likes to take the dogs roller blading. Our youngest pulls just fine and has a great time. Dozer loves to do it, but he gets excited and bites the leash/harness. We have to use a chain leash when its time for him to roller blade to keep him from tugging on it. As soon as he has a nylon leash th...

Re: Please think of her

I'm really not sure what to say. I've watched Tigger grow over my years on this board, she was always my fav here. She seemed like such a special dog and now she is your special angel. I cried when I started reading this post, but deep down I knew Tig was a fighter and I thought she'd make it. You ...
