I've searched google time and time again but haven't found anything, not sure if thats a good thing or not.... I'm being transferred for work and I j...

Re: EVO Herring and Salmon Formula Trial

Done with the switch! Still too early to see a major change other than his stool which has reduced in size and stiffened in consistency. I think thats a good thing no? I heard that it can take up from 30-90 days for a dogs allergies to old food disapear, anyone confirm that?

Re: EVO Herring and Salmon Formula Trial

I was hoping EVO would make a fish-based grain free food, but I only wish it had less protein. *sigh* Why don't you like the high protein if you don't mind the question? My big guy is halfway through the switch, eating 50/50 (Cali Natural Lamb & Rice/ Evo Herring & Salmon), he certainly has...

Re: EVO Herring and Salmon Formula Trial

I've had Mr. Owen on California Natural Lamb & Rice, he's REALLY itchy so I want to try grain free. Got a bag of this and started the change over this week. It CERTAINLY smells like fish! Anyone have any experience?

Thanks to everyone for the response's and suggestions. To answer a couple questions, we feed her about a cup and a half every morning and then another 1.5 cups in the evening, the vet did not test or mention to me about EPI or SIBO testing, I'll have to ask him I geuss 8l This has been our second ve...

My vet hasn't been able to pinpoint whats the issue. On other foods she consistantly had loose stool, real bad. We tried medication for IBD and it didn't work so he said that isn't the issue. Switched her the Hill's and she has taken very well to it, just doesn't seem like the best answer to me. Raw...

Alternative's to Hill I/D

Ok, my vet reccomended that Ava eats prescription HIll's i/d kibble at over $2 a pound. I look at the label and can't rationalize spending that for the included ingrediants. I bought a bag and damn it set it straight. Ava does do well with this food, as opposed to Wellness, Solid Gold, Natures Varie...
