It looks like Demodex mange, and if he's scratching there's likely a secondary skin infection going on.

Demodex is common in puppies. Two of my three had it when they were
little.

What are you feeding?

Lexus is back to normal. I'm pretty sure the pantyhose she pooped out was the root of the problem.

I don't understand why she would think pantyhose are tasty. She just gobbled it down, it was all in one long peice when it came out. :yucky:

I took Lexus to the vet a while ago for this...all they did was recommend soaking her feet in warm water with epsom salt twice a day.

Since nothing in the environment is changed, I would suspect a reaction to a bug bite or sting. Have you checked her over for bite/stings? Make sure to check the inside of the mouth too...I know my dogs love to eat bugs.

She held down her dinner last night and got a full breakfast this morning without throwing up...she still hasn't pooped yet though.

I reluctantly poked around in the weird poo pile from yesterday, and sure enough, that damn dog ate a pair of pantyhose.

Hopefully that was all she ate. She still hasn't pooped today. We'll see if she holds down her dinner.

Thanks...it was an uneventful night...no vomiting or poop. I skipped her breakfast this morning, and I'm going to make her some rice for dinner tonight.

She didn't poop this morning which was strange (she poops like clockwork), but I guess it's because she hasn't eaten since yesterday.

Need good thoughts

I'm starting to get a little freaked out... Lexus started vomiting at 2 am. She threw up again right after breakfast. She pooped, but it was soft-serve. She threw up again while I was grocery shopping. She pooped again, this time loose and a huge, weird one. Looked like she ate paper towels or panty...

To the OP: I think the reason Epilepsy Service dogs came up was because if your dog is a service dog, your Pit Bull has a lot more rights and it could be beneficial to you. As for the rescue pissing contest going on - does this dog not deserve to be assessed in person before condemning it to death? ...

Whichever one doesn't get adopted, I would be happy to run a transport leg. I'm in St. Louis, so if the transport runs through here I'd be glad to help.

Dog parks are a great way to get your dog parasites, diseases, and if the unthinkable happens and your dog is attacked, it's a great way to completely destroy all future dog tolerance. It's not that we're scared of dog parks, we'd just rather swallow our pride and see that our dogs are safe, instead...

How much is the quicking procedure? My two girls have soft white nails and short quicks, so they're easy to trim. My male has black nails and ridiculously long quicks. His nails are always long, even after I trim them, and it must be uncomfortable to walk on...I've always toyed with the idea of havi...

Have you talked to a vet about her heat? That just doesn't sound right. As for her aggression, it's normal for the breed and really nothing to be alarmed about. When dealing with bully breeds, a certain degree of dog aggression should be expected. Some dogs just turn on (her crazy hormones are proba...

Your dog is normal, and as long as he is never off-leash, you're doing nothing wrong. Lure the lab into your car and take him to the shelter. Problem solved. I have no patience for off-leash dogs in my neigborhood...if the owner is outside with them they get an earful from me about the leash laws. I...
