A couple things - get out of your lease and move or keep him in your car until you can bring him in to your place at night. There are NOT any homes for these dogs - we're drowning in rescue!!! Drowning!!! We have shelter wait lists, not enough qualified people to adopt and owners in the situation li...

I sent them all to the hotmail account you gave me on Tuesday night - late, like 11pm. I'll see if they bounced today but I didn't have a bounce last night - I sent them under 2 different emails. If I have to break them up tonight I will - still look at the hotmail. That's where I sent them and I'll...

VERY sweet! Thanks to both of you... I have a boy (11 weeks) or a girl (7 months) for you Jaq - pick your battle... He's all full of himself and she's probably getting some nice training at Heather's place. She's pretty brindle with some flash and he's white with brindle patches (I think there is br...

My hopes and prayers for this lovely boy have come true without going to Canada (sorry Katie!). Chaney is being adopted, as I write this, to his foster parents - he's always been their dog. I knew it from the first day he came to their house. He was home. I honestly thought it was not going to be tr...

Well, that's SO NICE!! Thank you to you all for well wishes to him. He is a lovely, lovely dog. We've had him listed for a long time. We've gotten some hits on him, though not as many as you'd think... but nothing of substance for THIS dog. Some of the people have been better fits for some other dog...

I can't thank you, Jaqueline, enough for taking DeeDee in and working with her - she's a very special little dog and very sweet. I'm hoping she gets her permanent home very soon but realize that that crop job is hard for some people to handle. She's a super dog and I swear to GOD I'm going to get GR...

I agree! I thought the same thing the other day about Dee. The same thing happened with my girl, Cobi (was Promise). She was at AFF in NY with no hits... she was flown out here and had a couple little nibbles that didn't pan out then we met her... that's all it took. Sometimes, there's no sense in r...

That girl baby is SO cute - they named her Lola which is very appropriate! Thanks Jaq (and Shawn - sp?) for picking her up and holding her overnight with all your LOVELY dogs. Deuce's little face just kills me! She'll probably be emailing you this evening - we both had problems at the border - what ...

Gosh - that sucks! At least your vet supports you in the diet - if her feet stay that way, maybe have her allergy tested to see if some of the veggies make her chew, maybe it's combinations, I don't know. It was weird things for Cobi and after the acupuncture and the treatment, they went away. She d...

Lots of people told me in the beginning that it was a money saver and maybe it is for some but, for example (my dogs diets), goat's milk yogurt is $5.49 for a big thing of it - it lasts like a week and a half - the free range, organic chicken necks are $10 for 20 lbs for 2 dogs it lasts 2 weeks. Org...

Here's the thing with the BARF diet according to my dogs nutritionist: a lot of people don't know what they're doing when they feed it - they don't know what their dogs are allergic or not allergic to - they don't wash the bowls enough - they feed disproportionate amounts of meat to fat to carbs. Ma...
