Re: Does ayone else's dog suffer from allergies??

My eleven year old Shiba Inu, Suki, gets bad seasonal allergies. The hair around her eyes comes off and it makes her look like she has mange. :( Oatmeal baths help and today I gave her a cider vinegar soaked which seemed to help, she still itches but not nearly as much. I also give her over the coun...

Re: Pics of raw fed dog teeth

I feed my girls raw 1x a week for now since March and I've already seen an improvement in my old girl's teeth (my younger dog has always had white teeth). Soon as I get a pic, I'll put 'em up.

x2. Also there's been a lot of blockages and recalls from so called "safe" products such as rawhide, chew toys, etc.

I personally haven't had a problem since we've been using Revolution. We started to use it one year when Hamish had a bad time with them.

Re: Licking - can neosporin hurt him?

I've been owning rats on and off since I was eight, and always used neosporin and similar on their boo boos. They've all been fine with it knock on wood :) I've used it for the dogs, too.

Re: B.A.R.F. 101

Just gave my two their first RMBs. Matilda LOVED it, even pulled the bone back to get to the marrow, but I think it'll take a little while for Suki to get into it, I think she was a touch intimidated by it.

Re: How do you walk with your bully? Curious.

I walk my girls in a loose heel position on the side (although in more crowded areas I do ask that they pay close attention to me) while in the neighbourhood/busier areas. While out on the trails I let them go ahead of me, behind me, just act like a dog unless there's other people/dogs/etc coming an...

Re: "Tigger" needs a home (Hamilton, Ontario)

They'll work with rescues, but usually when there's an animal that has issues. I remember there was a Beagle that was sent to Beagle rescue as he had posession issues. They also take in dogs from kill shelters in Timmins, etc.

"Tigger" needs a home (Hamilton, Ontario)

"Tigger" is a five year old neutered male red and white pit bull who is available for adoption at the Hamilton SPCA. He is a very loving dog who loves his cuddles and going for his walks. He is well mannered on the lead and is accepting of his muzzle even if he isn't a fan of it. He seems ...
