Lovely boy in Hamilton, Ontario

"Stoney" has been looking home for a while. He was skin and bones when he came in :( He's a very sweet boy, full of energy, very people friendly but I'm uncertain of how he's like with other animals. He does jump up and mouth people, but we're working on teaching him not to those things; otherwise h...

permission to crosspost granted - Poor girl's been here since September 2003! I don't know much about this girl (haven't met her) but she suffers from seizures and doesn't seem to care much for other dos. The shelter is currently suffering from an overpopulation of dogs at the moment, I'd love to se...

Fromt the sounds of it, she sounds like she'd be okay with kids just as long as they stay consistant with training, exercise, etc. With her high energy, it sounds like she'd also make a good agility/flyball athelete.

If anything, spaying improves the dog's temperament. My Shiba was a VERY shy girl when I brought her home, but a week later when she was spayed, she became a lot more bolder. I think it had to do with adjusting into the home, but I think the spaying was a factor as well. Glad to hear you're getting ...

Good to hear she isn't in danger of being PTS anytime soon...but what is going to happen if the stupid ban is passed? What will 'no-kill' shelters do with all their pits? Actually lets not think about that yet, it hasn't passed and hopefully won't, ever! I know :( I'm not sure what their policies w...

GORGEOUS tricoloured gal in Hamilton, Ont.

There's an absolute sweetheart of a Pittie girl at the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA. Her name's "Lilly" and she was an unclaimed stray. She's a real wigglebum! Pictures, etc, can be found here: http://www.hamiltonspca.com There's also a 3 month old pup and a big male that looks to have a bit of mastiff ...

I feed Holistic Blend. My dogs seem to really like it, and it's been made wtih human-grade ingrediants, and doesn't contain things like corn, soy, beet pulp, etc, that some dogs are allergic to. Ther's also no BHA, BHT, etc.

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada - "Iggy"

If there's anyone in Ontario looking to adopt a Pittie, meet "Iggy"! She is an approximately four year old Pit Bull mix (possibly part Malinois or German Shepherd) who's tan with a black mask. She seems to ignore other dogs and is a VERY kissy, extremely friendly, sweet girl. She pulls on the lead, ...
