I looked at the apple cider vinegar that I have and this is what it says, "All natural. Ingredients: apple cider vinegar and water. Reduced to 5% acidity for uniform pickling and table strength." Will this work or should I go look for some at a health food store?

Yeast Infection? & Oil of Oregano Q

I was giving my pup a bath earlier and while I was cleaning his feet I noticed one of his nails was slightly discolored at the top. In another thread it was mentioned that this is a sign of a yeast infection. So, I guess what I want to know is if that is what this looks like. http://pic70.picturetra...

Sabot does the exact same thing.

Did Ziggy have more than one spot of it? It seems like Sabot is getting at least one more spot everyday. So far, they've all been really small. About how long does it take to get results form a scraping? The only reason I ask is because I'm going on a trip in three weeks and Sabot is going with me. ...

Balding Patches

I did a search and I wasn't able to really find what I was looking for. A few days ago I noticed a little patch of thin hair on my pups side. I've been watching it since then and I've noticed a few more that weren't there before. I have a few pics of them to show. This is his right side, the first p...

Thanks everyone. I definitely plan on watching his every move when we're around other dogs. What should I do when he does that? Yesterday Sabot was playing with his lab/golden buddy and I did notice that he barks differently at him than he does at my neighbors min pin. Sabot plays with the min pin a...

I don't have any real advice, but I wanted to say that they don't look like and red ant or mosquito bites I've ever had.

That's kind of what I'm thinking, but I wanted other opinions too. It's kind of like when he first realized that he could raise his hackles. Once he did it, he started doing it at everything. I hope he's just being bratty.

I could try to get a video, but it was such a random thing I'm not even sure it will happen again. He gets along great with the dobies and my other neighbors min pin. He's played with a few other dogs and this hasn't surfaced before now.

when he was doing this was his front end down and his tail and butt in the air?? if so, he was playbowing... wanting to play... some dogs are very rough when they play, barking and growling.. some just bark, some are very quiet... No, he wasn't playbowing at either of the dogs. He can be rough when...

Thank you both for your replies. :peace: Yes, I do have a car. I did get the window shades so the sun won't be directly on him, but I am thinking of getting a fan that plugs into the cigarette lighter also. I want to be sure he's properly cooled. I don't think I'm going to get any tranquilizer, but ...

Pup and strange aggressive behavior

I'm in need of some advice, because I am positively baffled about my dog's new behavior. Here is a little background on him. Sabot is 5 months old, he's great with people, even strangers, and he's been great with other dogs. I've been able to bring him to PetsMart and the vet without incident with o...

Road Trip

In about a month I'll be going on a 16+ hour drive from North Carloina to Louisiana with my dog. The original plan was to leave the dog with my husband, but because of his job (military) and the crazy hours that go with it we decided it would be best for me to take him with me. I'll be down there fo...

Thanks for the reply! I cant see what it would hurt to upgrade him, better than having him break apart the puppy kong and choke or get a blockage. I was actually thinking the same thing, but I wanted to be sure before I did anything. Actually, now that I think of it, he doesn't really chew on his ei...

Kong and new adult teeth

My pup has all of his adult teeth, with the exception of his canines which are still growing in, and he's 5 months old. Is it time to switch him to a red Kong or should I stay with the puppy Kong?
