No I'm pretty sure it is not from her bottom, smell is centered around her vagina/urethra area.

Strange smell from rear area?

Ok, I'm gonna try to state this all as carefully as I can. Has anyone's female dog ever emitted a funky smell from their crotch area? Layla once in a while (once every month or so) will out of nowhere have a strange fishy smell for a day or two. It will be on the blanket where she sleeps and stink u...

Wow...seeing those pictures makes me feel much better. Layla at 4 1/2 is 105. Hearing all those 40-75 pounders makes me feel like a bad momma for having such a porker. Although, even at her ideal weight she would still be 90+. Gals at the vet said she must be mixed with something bigger due to her b...

I know grapes/raisins are toxic but am not sure about cranberrys. This is the only thing I could find....Also most juice do not contain enough real juice to have any effect, I would get fresh or frozen. I would like to give cranberries to my dogs to prevent urinary tract infections. Is this safe? —G...

In Chicago the chain/lock thing is used often in the bad neighborhoods. The gangbangers will use it on their dogs to give them the tough bad a#s look that the dog fighters use. They use the chain and lock so when they're left out no one can steal them and won't spend the money on a collar for a dog ...

How funny...we have to wipe the va jay jay every time she goes out. We had a issue a few years ago where Layla refused to walk up on to anything or run. After thinking the worst and getting hip xrays and such the vet rolled her over and showed us her flaming red chapped chooch. He then told us she h...

We've used Fromms' Fish and Veggies for years. It is the only thing that doesn't bother allergies. Does make for stinkie fish burps though.
