Bow Wow Beds

I was looking for a large bed that was durable and washable. I found this woman on Ebay who makes dog bed covers that take regular pillows inside. I guess I did not visualize correctly when it said how large it was. This thing is huge, takes three body pillows. The three of us can fit on this thing ...

I have a grunter. She'll come by my side (she knows I'm the sucker) of the bed then sit and grunt at me. It'll get louder the more she has to go. The nice thing is she's as lazy as I am, she'll do her business and in she comes.

We ended up going to Norwood Park Animal Hospital with Dr. Douglas Hammer, much closer. I'm glad I did. It turned out it wasn't her hips at all. He did a bunch of xrays of different hip positions. All were fine so he xrayed her knees to check them and her ligaments and cartilage. Those were fine als...

Boogie, that's what I think also. I may try the muzzle thing once to see how she reacts to it. Last thing I want is for her to bite too hard, not knowing better due to lack of playing. But the whole post was about places that carry muzzles that fit bullies and don't look like what a biker would wear.

Thank you for the well wishes and for answering. I plan on being as safe and responsible pittie owner I can be. And if that means letting her run around being mad and looking like Hannible Lector for a couple weeks, then break out the fava beans.

Oh..and she is four. When she was younger she had fine interactions. We'd taken her for puppy obedience and she was fine, took to the class and other dogs well. Andonce in a while we used to go the the dog park and she was always fine there. Then they installed this crazy fee for out of district res...

No one has said why it is such a wrong training suggestion. Just giving their opinion. The trainer I've been going to is an established recognized trainer. So don't be steriotypical about the idea. The place and trainer is a widely used facility by professionals in the field of dog agility and compi...

We haven't had many face to face meetings, so I couldn't really tell you. Usually it's the lunging barking thing and the other dog is pulled away. But when she barks and such there is no raising of hair and the tail is wagging like crazy. The muzzle was the trainers idea. She has a established busin...

The idea of the muzzle was not a permanent thing, just for a few sessions. Basically to see how she will play with other dogs and then go from there. She's never experienced play without a fence between in her own yard. She does well with the halti collar on her nose and will be accustomed to the mu...
