Thanks for the welcome. Layla was found on the west side of Chgo abandoned under a porch with another puppy at about 2-3 months. She was malnourished and had mange when we adopted her. She was on antibiotics for most of her first year due to her reoccuring skin issues. We've been going to VCA as her...

Vet in Chgo area....Please recomend.

I may need a vet in the Chicago area that specializes in hip disorders. I'm waiting on the basic testing for my baby who has sore hips. I feel the need to be prepared for the worst...just in case. Anyone know of someone? I was told Douglas Hammer in Norridge and Claude Gendreau in Buffalo Grove, any...

Not too overweight, could loose 5 to 10 and be fine. I don't think it' HD or arthritis, she'll run around like a mad man and be fine. Stairs don't bother her either. But I'll tell ya she is the most uncoordinated dog I've ever seen. She can't back up or turn around without making it a 25 point turn....

Wimpering when stepping up?

She is not a jumper or coordinated in any way and can't get on the bed without someone lifting her back end up. The couch she can get on by herself. Every once in a...

I can't seem to figure out how to put her picture up. The only thing I see when I go into my profile is about loading an avatar.
