My dogs run around all day in my backyard, so it's bald where the all the puppy traffic is lol . It also looks like a mini-golf course from all the holes they dug. I would literally have to seed and resod weekly :bully: . Do I have that kind of energy... how important is a nice backyard to me( I thi...

Alonza's breeder almost starved the entire litter to death, so she has some issues with food. She's very greedy and if we turn our backs for a second she's on the table and eating our dinners. Monitoring her intake and feeding separately is the only way to go or she's going to get worse and worse. S...

I'll try the feeding schedule and feed them separately and see how that works. Right now I have no idea how much either dog is eating and it looks like Alonza is eating the majority of the food.

She gets tons of exercise. How do I feed her less if she eats her food and Loca's food. It's hard to separate their feedings.

Alonza is a whale

Alonza is a food whore and has turned into a lardass because of it. I would like to feed her a diet food, but Loca eats like a bird and needs the extra fat. How do I do this?

Our dogs still managed to gouge the couch even though I have a sheet covering it. I guess I'll need a slipcover made of heavy canvas lol . We tried leather couches too. We bought them used and the dogs had them sliced to smitherines in a few months :crybaby: . It didn't help that we bought couches w...

I've heard that spaying/neuturing calms them down, but I never thought it would make them friendlier/happier dogs. They've always been overly affectionate with everyone they know, but it was the people they don't know that they would bark at and so on. I was worried that the spay would take away the...

behavioural changes with spay

Both my dogs used to bark and be very leary of new people, very stand-offish and unfriendly. It used to stress me out, since they are APBTs. Since they have been spayed, they are like totally different dogs. They are totally friendly to strangers now and never bark. They are still just as energetic ...

Alonza's full of milk?

I just got Alonza spayed last week. Last night I noticed her nipples are big and dripping with milk. I'm going to ask the vet about this on Monday, but wondering if anyone here has heard of this before?

The title of your thread scared me lol . I'm glad to hear she's only going to get spayed. She'll be fine. I get soooo worried when my dogs get operated on too.

Thanks everyone :) . I asked the vet if it will come back and he said that it is very rare and shouldn't come back. Although I've heard that our breed is prone to tumors and so on.
