Our local Pet Supplies Plus recently started carrying this, and while browsing the foods, I realized that the Salmon formula was something Kira could potentially eat. (No egg, chicken or weird oils like flax or sunflower...) The greyhound is doing better on the Eagle Pack than anything else we have ...

Our greyhound gets Eagle Pack Holistic Selects, and that's where we get it.

Nutro..

I haven't been on much lately, too nice out and too much going but, butI did want to bring to everyone's attention (seeing a few posts with the same symptoms) this current issue with Nutro: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/nutro.html?imw=Y A lot of the greyhound people on another board I am on fe...

I am jealous of you guys who get off at less than $50 for two dogs..Kira goes through a 20lb bag of prescription allergy food ($50) a month, the greyhound eats a 30lb bag of Eagle Pack once a month ($45ish) and then factor in treats ($10-$20 a month) and we are in the way too friggin much range... :...

I have no input, but I think that is great that she likes it so much!
I wish our greyhound was that way..she's got some serious "yuck mouth" (it's a breed thing with them apparently..our vet recommended yearly dentals) and she just HATES it.

Ezri seems pretty happy with it..and she seems satisfied with her smaller helpings on it..with the other stuff she was CONSTANTLY begging for food..with this..she with still go back to her bowl a few times..but not the neverending poor-and-neglected-starving-greyhound routine where she paces, whines...

Oh yeah..my crew LOVES them...along with pig feet, which are usually a tad easier to find...I freeze them so they last a bit longer, but they still gobble them right up!

Hey, thanks crazy4pits.. We're hoping that this turns out to be "the one"..I hate switching brands all the time and watch things like coat/weight/digestion all fluctuate..this one seemed like a good choice for Ez's dry coat and flaky skin...and did you know they have coupons for a couple o...

Eagle Pack

I have decided to try our Greyhound on the Eagle Pack Anchovy, Sardine and Salmon. http://www.eaglepack.com/Pages/HS_Fish.html I did a search, but didn't see anything recent, and I know a lot of us have switched foods recently due to all the stupid @$$ recalls. Ezri seems to be tolerating it so far....

Maybe one of those ultra-huge totes without a lid?
We have one that is about as big as kira's crate, only about half as tall..

I have personally never been thrilled with the results on Nature's Variety, (not even the greyhound, who is a pointy-nosed stomach, will eat it without toppers, and it has too many weird ingredients for lil miss allergic) but as you can see, others swear by it. Canidae is really good, you prolly wil...
