ANY vet will take back the food. it has a 100% guarentee. Even if there is 1 cup left in the bag, we are instructed by Royal Canin and Medi-cal to take back the food. Same goes for Hills perscription. I am sure it does for Iams as well. It is the fault of the staff at your clinic for not posting th...

I actually noticed a change in the last bag of it I bought, (color and smell was slightly different) but was going to try the Venison and Potato Natural Balance, so I didn't pay it much mind. (and I figured the yeasty spots were from the kitties sleeping in her crate when she wasn't..) I am going to...

friggin ingredient changes

I just picked up a bag of the IVD Royal Canin Venison and Potato and they friggin changed the ingredients!!!!!! :po: :po: :po: I just spent nearly $50 f*&*^ing dollars on food that now has Salmon oil instead of canola oil. (Kira has shown a reaction to Salmon Oil in the past) Why do they change ...

Some will say no, but we do it all the time here..
For example, we will often use a canned variety of a different brand for a kibble topper

I knew about the new Diamond recalls, my mom feeds that to her Great Dane, and called me asking what she should put Darian on since she was sick of the Diamond quality issues.

(We are still going back to the Royal Canin IVD tho..there is something there in trace amounts causing her to get random hives and a tad yeasty..which is shady, because there shouldn't be ANYTHING in it that she's allergic to.) Well the RC is a POTATO and NB is SWEET POTATO, maybe that is the diffe...

I was paying attn to the Blue Buffalo recalls....the SAME products are being recalled due to a similar problem. Last year it was rice protein concentrate and now rice gluten. It says the pages are updated as of jan 2008, but the recall seems very similar to the giant one of last year. And if THAT m...

Bartonella? (NPBR)

I knew when I adopted my greyhound, that there was a good chance of her having a Tick-Borne Disease..they are rather common in retired racers. So, I found the lab the rescues recommended..North Carolina State University, which is apparently the gold standard in TBD's, and had our vet send off the bl...

I chose yes:other, simply because there wasn't a good option for us.. I feed primarily kibble, but because of allergies, I treat with dried sweet potatoes, and give a couple of RMB's a week...(pork and venison are all Kira can have) Since I supplement with kibble, the new vet didn't seem to concerne...

yup, this stuff works! We had to use it last night when the Boy and I each gave the muttling her meds..while I doubt benadryl is toxic in that dose, I really didn't want to take any chances..(she's already pushing the 2 mg per pound in one dose..) It took a few minutes, but everything came up that n...
