Oh I thought she was older for some reason. Throughout the next year she is going to do nothing but test you and everything she has learned. When my girl hit 11 months to almost 2 years she was a hellion but I just had to hold fast......see it through. Don't let up on nilif at all, the more strict ...

Wow I can see how you are confused, she sounds like she is typically on her best behavior. How much exercise does she get? Its a bit rare for a dog to be treat possesive but not food. If I were you I would monitor her treats to see if she is more protective of one then the other and rule those out ...

rawhides and bones are like file mignon to dogs.. some dogs will try to protect this high value item. start with her by trading one high value item for the rawhide, like steak or chicken, let her see that if you take it from her she gets something better in return. how old is she? as some dogs matu...

What are her other obediance rituals like? By the way you write it sounds like your a knoweldgable dog owner so sorry if I state the obvious here. Dogs see you as the leader or they dont so while it may not seem related that basic obedaince can help with issues like this but it actually does A LOT....

Kira has always been very soft and sweet, but recently she has become VERY resource guard-y, especially in regards to our bratty cat Malachai (who WILL come up and try to steal whatever she has..) She even gotty snap...

I have personally never been thrilled with the results on Nature's Variety, (not even the greyhound, who is a pointy-nosed stomach, will eat it without toppers, and it has too many weird ingredients for lil miss allergic) but as you can see, others swear by it. Canidae is really good, you prolly wil...

I am mot Miss Kiwi, but I have an allergy dog..diagnosed through a dermatologist. We actually thought she had sarcoptic mange and went through the Ivermectin treatments with scant improvement. I actually think it was on here, reading about others issues with allergies that made me wonder, and then w...

Hey guys how much pumpkin can he have in a day? He eats three times a day. Should I give him pumpkin with every meal? And how much? Thanks! We gave Kira a few tablespoons with each feeding. I am also a big fan of yogurt..the Dannon Activa in particular. Our greyhound is on a long-term antibiotic re...

They have had ALOT of quality issues..to the point I would start to call them "ongoing"

I dont blame you on not wanting to throw out the food. I used up all out Nutro by mixing the foods during the switchover. I have found the cost of Nutro Naturals and TW to be about equal because they are now eating about half as much as they previously did. I think I stress more about what my dogs ...
