that's what i thought too, but i've never had a male dog before either. He also seeps a lot which is why i originally thought he licked sooo much. it's gross to see him him jump on my bed with yellow sludge down there. I immediately make him get down, until after he cleans himself.......my mom says ...

it doesn't seem to bother him all that much, but i think it may be allergies because he is constantly licking himself down there.......i mean constantly!!!! he doesn't yelp or jerk away when i investigate, so i am of course assuming it's not painful. Thanks for the get wells tho'

no, he's not neutered yet......May 18th he will be  yes, they checked his urine, and he had normal readings. Nothing stood out to the vet. This is one of very few vets who doesn't automatically prong or shcok collar pits just because it is a pit, so i'd rather keep my vet. besides he's ver...

Bleeding Penis

My dog is bleeding from his penis. I've taken him to the vet and they can't find anything wrong with him. I suspected allergies and have switched from Lundquist foods to Canidae, but it's still happening. It's just once in a while, but still scary and icky for me to see. Anyone have this issue before?

Hope to hear some good info. from everyone.:) 1. Why is this a good dog food? 2. How big of bags does it...

Bonez is home now......he had an elevated level of globulins. The Vet explained that globulins are basically what triggers the immune system, so according to him an levated level of globulins sent messages to Bonez brain telling him that he was sick even though he wasn't. He's fine now, and back to ...

Just an update on the whole free spay/neuter program talked about earlier. They do offer free services, however, I do not live in their "target" area......in other words, because i live in a predominantly upper class area of Las Vegas, their words not mine, I do not qualify for the free or...

Thanks for the get well wish...I appreciate it a lot. My house feels so empty without him here. I know that sounds crazy seeing that I have a rott, and a pom/ chihuahua mix here, but he's my baby.

He never gave me a name, he just stated that Bonez had a low red cell count, and that it could be the cause of why he was not acting like himself( not eating, sleeping more, not wanting to play or go for a walk) Bonez is usually active around the house, and it's hard to get him to sit still when I h...

My baby is sick!!!!!

I had to take my pit to the vet thursday because he wouldn't eat, and was shaking like crazy.....Turns out he has some sort of red blood cell deficiency which has caused him to lose energy, and a loss of appetite. Anyone here encounter this problem? He also has acid reflux, so i have to give him pep...
