i'm extremely interested in starting raw but i don't feel that i have researched enough to do it yet- ie: i have no idea where to start.... i tried letting him eat a chicken leg which went pretty well, but that's as far as i got with it. I would need a personal session with an experienced feeder bec...

we're on ok terms because he still has the dog. Once I get my baby home with me, I won't be talking to him EVER again. He would never admit to me that he ahs done something to the dog because that would be a direct violation of the court order. That isn't to say that he hasn't. He was verbally abusi...

I'm so happy, but what can I expect?

Hello everyone, I'mposting this as a training and behavior question, but if it needs to be moved, i apologize now. Here's the deal- I've recently divorced my ex- husband, and had to leave my dog behind for various reasons. The judge awarded the dog to me as part of the divorce, and he is due to be r...

:goodbye: Cain.
Sorry that you have to go through this alone. My deepest sympathies to you in your moment of grieving. I hope and pray that you find the peace you so deserve in this situation, and like so many before me have said, you are a courageous person.

It could or couldn't be, but in any case I would seek a professional opinion. Why take a chance like that. At this point my dog would be muzzled, and crated. You need to really think about the message you are sending him at this point. not only has he bitten you twice before, but he;s made a third ...

I feel the utmost respect for you right now. To come here and ask advice shows that you are trying to make the best decision possible for this situation. I have to commend you for that. I recently had to put my Rott to sleep because he bit me. He not only broke skin, but his canines went through my ...

Well, since there are no Las Vegas stores listed, I absolutely must add my 2 cents. Bone Appetit on Tropicana and Fort Apache is the best store i have ever been to. They are extremely pitbull friendly, you can bring your dogs in, they give out treats galore, and are people friendly too 8) They carry...

I keep mine crated when I can't supervise as well as when I am gone, but when they get treats, I am always standing there until they get done. I don't make them share bully sticks, they do that on their own, however, if one growls, or snarls, I take it away then crate them. I don't condone resource ...

Thank you for the input though. If I didn't know that already, it would have been great advice. If that's get snippy, somebody help me. I stated what I felt, and as this is a PUBLIC forum, I do have that right. I was in no way offended by what she said, nor did I think that my response was mean spi...

Please remember that wheeled carts need 2 people to manage them, 1 to control the dog, and 1 to control the cart. If the cart runs into the dog, at best you will have a dog who feels unsafe w/a cart behind him, at worst your dog will sustain injuries that may cripple him. You really don't need a ca...

I use my daughters old wagon. It has wheels which makes it easier for Bonez to pull around our area. I started him on short bursts of "come", "sit", and "stay". When he was able to sit and stay for at 2 minutes that's when i hooked him up to the cart. I haven't begun to...

ur welcome zifosgirl, i try to help out where i can. as far as my female, she gets extremely upset when my male plays with her, but she doesn't show any aggression towards the small dog. She snarls, bites, barks, and tries to tear him up. Of course I laugh a little bc he could easily rip her a new o...
