I have 2 pits, a male who's 15 mths, and a female who's 3 mths, as well as, a small dog who is 11 mths. She's a pomeranian/papillon/ chihuahua mix, and she thinks she's a pit! roflmao All 3 dogs are allowed to play together as long as I am in the room, and honestly she's protected. My male doesn't a...

It's not just you.....it's us as newbies we have yet to break into the pack. We have a lot to add to the community, but no one really knows us yet, so we usually just get ignored. I feed my crew Canidae and 1 40 lb bag lasts me about 5 weeks. I have a 15 month old pittie(48 lbs), a 3 month old pitti...

honestly, i think it's more or less a mystery. I will be honest in saying that Bonez tail was almost completely healed when i had him on Lundquist foods, but he stopped eating it, and so i put him on NV raw/ Canidae because i heard it was better quality food, but now i'm getting ready to put him bac...

Here's some pics of my babies tail, he has the same problem, and no results from the vet as well. Puzzled actually, so switched to Canidae, just in case it's allergies.....Also noticed that after playing with him I get all itchy so, I thought it was mites, but vet says no. :frown: http://i138.photob...

that's what i thought too, but i've never had a male dog before either. He also seeps a lot which is why i originally thought he licked sooo much. it's gross to see him him jump on my bed with yellow sludge down there. I immediately make him get down, until after he cleans himself.......my mom says ...

it doesn't seem to bother him all that much, but i think it may be allergies because he is constantly licking himself down there.......i mean constantly!!!! he doesn't yelp or jerk away when i investigate, so i am of course assuming it's not painful. Thanks for the get wells tho'

no, he's not neutered yet......May 18th he will be  yes, they checked his urine, and he had normal readings. Nothing stood out to the vet. This is one of very few vets who doesn't automatically prong or shcok collar pits just because it is a pit, so i'd rather keep my vet. besides he's ver...

Bleeding Penis

My dog is bleeding from his penis. I've taken him to the vet and they can't find anything wrong with him. I suspected allergies and have switched from Lundquist foods to Canidae, but it's still happening. It's just once in a while, but still scary and icky for me to see. Anyone have this issue before?

my 1yr2mth male is extremely sensitive to biting. He has never broken skin or hurt, and we wrestle, and play fight all the time. When he was a baby I would wrestle with him, and when he mouthed me I would let him until he applied too much pressure, then I would stop playing with him. Most of the tim...

Re: Canidae food questions

I have been given the advice to try this food out for my new Cane Corso-Pitbull puppy and would like a few answers. I am interested in the all life stages kind but looking at Canidae in general. Hope to hear some good info. from everyone.:) 1. Why is this a good dog food? 2. How big of bags does it...

I am with rutibegga to a point......I had been feeding my dogs Lundquist foods, but then switched to Canidae after being on this thread a few days ago. Ihave decided to try the RAW diet, but I still have some questions. 1st) is supermarket meat okay for them, or should I go to a natural food store....
