Sorry for DP. Question, off the cuff. What kind of "life" does the cat have, since she does not seem to get out of the bedroom? I do understand, ultimately you would love to put both Tay and the cat together.. but what if that point never comes. Are you willing to continue with this pentup...

Okay, I wasn't sure if she had any other issues with the crate. Thank you for clarifying. I think a behavioralist would also be a good thing, or at least get the trainer back into your house. You won't see a difference over night, its going to be a process that will take time. Put it this way, you a...

Okay - question - does she always go right into the crate if/when the cat is meowing? Because she has paired the two up, like you said, that you lock her up and are going to be with the cat. Which in the end, brings about a sort of understandable frustration. If the cat DOESN'T meow, how is it to ge...

About how much do you think this would cost total? I'm looking into this like this for Sadie and need to take prices into consideration. It's either build her one, or try to get a real treadmill in the house somehow. lol. Plus, I want an agility course in the backyard for her. And a bunch of other t...

Sadie does look at the little dogs like snack packs.. but I'm hoping to work on that with her. lol. I just recently taught my family that even thought OUR dog might be dog friendly, it doesn't mean that the OTHER persons dog is. Boy did that take a lot of lessons. *Rolls eyes* My family is full of s...

This is my opinion and until I am proven otherwise It will stay that way. Some people JUST DON'T belong owning animals period. There are just some things you cannot teach like common sense and I believe the OP is one of these people. He was warned in his other thread about properly containing the d...

Welcome!

Can you tell us more about yourself and your dogs?

We aren't very open about breeding or litter pics though, just so you know ahead of time.

Your dog might be little and all, but to be perfectly honest, a few years ago if a little dog came charging like that at me I probably would have done the same thing.. or at least something similar. Not because I don't like dog, I love them. However, when I was little I got my lip ripped open by fri...

I always encourage them with clapping and egging them on. I'm sure there are many varieties of zoomies. Max will have "poopy zoomies" where he celebrates another successful bowel movement with a zoomy. Sadie creates a successful bowel movement with a zoomie. lol. She needs to run it into ...

You might want to take a really close look at his surroundings and atmosphere in the house. A dog can pick up on the atmosphere better and quicker than people can. Sadie was a lot like how you're explaing right now when I was in SC with my husband. Her tail was always tucked between her and she neve...

Zoomies are great... especially on tile flooring!! lol I've been taken out many times. Although, Sadie has learned that I'm part of the zoomie because I normally push her, slap her butt, stuff like that.. so she tries to avoid me. Or dive on me. Or over me. yeah... interesting stuff. lol But as for ...

I would like to crate him at work but I don't want him to be surrounded by the chemicals that are usually in the air that come from the spray booth. Let alone a lot of the pollutants that come from the tailpipes of cars. And I honestly would feel bad to crate him for 10hrs straight, where would he ...

You explained my pup to a "Tee". I checked out the leash sticky and started with that at all times. Put the choke on her at all times, if thats your method for training her, and also try and keep a leash on her while in the house for a while. It'll get her to stop stressing about the choke...
