we had/have an extra large one for arya, our saint bernard, and i have to tell you, that thing was a life saver! i love it! it's too big to use very effectively on river or the cats, but it still comes in handy if the shedding gets bad!

she is DEFINATELY not too skinny. "plumping" her up, especially when so young, can lead to all kinds of health and development problems.
