You can also consider installing a simple "tie-down" for her. This just consists of either screwing a heavy eyebolt in to a wall stud, or finding a really heavy item she can't move and putting a leash on it. For example, loop a short leash around a couch leg, piano leg, etc... put a nice ...

yea, basically.

i'd have her fixed... he'd never even have to know. and it's so much healthier for the dog.

i have one that i used to keep my kids back on the drive from new mexico to alaska. it was a life saver! it was easy to put in, easy to take out. sturdy, as long as you get the legs positioned right. it's currently 2:30 in the morning, so i don't feel like doing a search, but if your interested, let...

you're in lubbock? you can find much better locally! when i lived in clovis, i drove the two hours to lubbock just so i could find better quality pet supplies! heck, even petsmart has better quality food than science diet! there are also a few local feed stores that carry decent food (don't remember...

definately don't try driving with the puppy in your lap! that's not at all safe, for you, or the dog! especially not on that long of a trip. i'd definately put the little guy in a kennel in the back seat. make sure you secure the kennel, with the seat belt, bungy cords, whatever, so it doesn't shift...

river's just a pup, so she's still learning. at home, it's 100%. i tell her to do something, and she does it immediately. away from home, she still does very well, as long as i can keep her focus. it's when there are other people or dogs actually approaching her that she becomes deaf. we're workin o...
