Yes but at least her post isn't reflecting back that this person is selling the dog. Your post had no mention of it being an adoption fee or stating that a homecheck and adoption application would need to be done prior. It's unfortunate that people such as yourself can hurt the reputations of legiti...

This is a new way of getting exposure for adoptable dogs here in BC but as you can see they mention an adoption application and most mention the homecheck portion as well. They also do not list the dogs for $300 which in my opinion sounds like your just trying to sell the dog and not adopt it out.

Humane Society in WA

Anyone know anything about the Kitsap Humane Society in WA and if they work with rescue groups? A rescuer I know would love to pull a few dogs from them.

Horrible first attempt at feeding raw

We decided to try Buddy on some pre made raw food just some chicken and veggies. Well he wouldn't touch the stuff and just kept trying to roll in it. He would sniff it and then try to stick his head into his dish and roll in it. He would drop it on the floor just to roll in it.

Any advice

I have heard great things about posting kitties on the catster message boards. A lot of helpful people looking for a second or third kitty that I am sure would love to help or maybe posting her on catster.

Adoption Policies

Sorry if this is in the wrong section moderators but I would like to know since this seems to get discussed a lot on this forum. What policies do rescues here have for people who have applied for a dog but have indicated on their application that they have gotten rid of one or more dogs for one reas...

Nope the hair never seems to grow back. My boy spent almost the first year of his life at the SPCA on the hard concrete as well as whoever stole him from the SPCA prior to us adopting him must have kept him on concrete as all of the hair is missing on the elbows. It doesn't bother him but it does ta...

I do beleive this dog is heading to a rescue called ARNO who helps out a lot with animals in high kill shelters in Louisiana. They have been wonderful with animals they have taken from a shelter in LA called Roicy so I am sure this dog is going to be in good hands. Hoping the dog makes it.

No thank you Panda. Without you and the wonderful members on this board who knows where Desi would be.He is now safe and sound in a foster home where he is getting to learn some basic manners (like not jumping on the table) and getting to play with some canine friends. Hopefully after a few more day...

Although our rescue doesn't have a lot of pit bulls up for adoption right now (just 2 mixes) we are having trouble keeping up with applications due to the high volume but for most it's the small dogs and the chocolate labs. Our poor blind pit bull X terrier hasn't gotten 1 inquiry though which is re...

Don't know about the antibiotics but we have a cat that was on antibiotics for quite sometime as a kitten due to rhinovirus and our vet told us to buy acidophilus capsuls to help build up the good bacteria.I don't know if your doing that already but it did help our cat.
