Re: Best tag clip?

We went with embroidered collars for the working dogs. Morgan pointed out that while the clips for the tags were failing, sometimes so was the s hook or the split ring. They loose them in the mountains, so I don't even know how it happens, but I would assume in the brush or the rock. I like the slid...

Re: Hog Hunting--too dangerous for rescue dogs?

The same goes for controlling populations. Hunting and killing is always the first solution. I wonder if as much time, money, and effort went into researching and implementing mass birth control methods for certain invasive species would work as well or better than hunting? Colonies of stray cats a...

http://drsophiayin.com/docs/articles/LucyLearns2Earn.pdf Dr. Yin's step by step puppy training guide. Very well written, easy to use. x2! We recommend this site (as one of our resources) to our clients who need some puppy help. There is no reason to use a choke on a 3mo pup. At this age everything ...

Re: Questions about Duchess extreme behavior change

I think human personalities have a lot of impact of dogs. And I absolutely believe that we can stress them out with our personal BS.

Congrats on the lifestyle change, and glad it has positively impacted Duchess.

Re: URGENT! Maizie Am Bull/OEB?

I have shipped dogs to PA before. However, I'm not sure about the temps this time of year. Arranging legs of transport has been difficult in the past as I am very remote in the Rocky Mountains. She tends to be good with 95% of dogs, she was previously housed with 2-10mo Pit Bull/St Bernards siblings...

Re: URGENT! Maizie Am Bull/OEB?

Mazie is in southern Colorado.

She really is a sweet dog. She lives for affection. She has been working with a trainer (prior to her injury) and is learning her basics.

I would bring her here to foster, but she is a female, and Nora is not accepting anymore adult females ATM.

Re: Items for Pit to Pull

Check out the Dog Sports forum for more info. There are a lot of people here who are into weight pull. I'm sure they would be glad to help! Many people do weight pulling with their dogs. You need a proper weight pulling harness and an adult dog. Growing dogs should not be stressing their joints. You...

Re: Best tag clip?

While I do love ella's lead, I have not had luck with the scissor clips. They work fine for the lazy butts, but the working/hunting dogs, not so much... What about a tiny padlock? You could put the key on your house keys and that way they'd never come undone. Sent from my BlackBerry 9300 using Tapat...

URGENT! Maizie Am Bull/OEB?

http://i534.photobucket.com/albums/ee341/merriterrier/mazie.jpg http://i534.photobucket.com/albums/ee341/merriterrier/mazie1.jpg Maizie has been at our shelter for a few months. She came in with her titties dragging (her pups must have been 3-4 wks from the look of her) and despite our extensive ad...

Re: I don't know what to tittle this but... :(

Tonight I was at dog training with Serenity Are these the same people from your thread here ? The ones who strike, swat, cuff, jerk, and "dominate" their dogs and their clients' dogs? The same woman who bragged she belted her puppy? The same trainers who jerked Serenity for not sitting fa...
