Re: Temperament Testing

:goodpost:

There is so much to consider. It is hard to say "this is the one and only way to determine suitability for rescue." I think it is necessary to look at the dog and the situation from all angles.

Re: Breedfreak pet costs calculator

When will we ever get a :bangs head on wall: emoticon? Or else some cyber duct tape?? Whats wrong with Labradoodle being considered a breed? You can take two Labradoodles and get the pups look the same as the parents. All of your 'pure bred' dogs now where mutts back in the day and I am pretty open ...

Re: Apricots anyone?

If she ate it yesterday she should be sick by now. Most dogs just swallow the hard pit, and don't chew it up to get the "meat" inside (which is toxic).

Glad to hear they came through for him! How is it going? (now preforming all sorts of superstitious rituals in the hopes that I don't jinx him)

Re: Health Issues - Tiara....normal?

If she is really super active for 1hr that could be enough to knock her out for a whole day. When I lure course Lydia she is dead to the world after essentially 45min of running her hardest (not 45 consecutive min of running).

Re: leaking urine

I was wondering about spay incontinence. Pretty sure it's not a UTI, but it could be... I had a full panel done back in Aug and everything was fine, but it's been a few months so we'll see. She leaked enough 2x this am that I would have thought one of the Pit Bulls had an accident except I was petti...

Re: Talk about gaining weight!

Could they have gotten into some other food source? When I take Victoria to the shelter with me I have to pick up the food for the dumped cats (that live in the field around the shelter) or she will eat so much she looks prego and distended.

leaking urine

Nora is leaking urine. I think it may have been going on for a while, but since it was such a small amount I was blaming Chilli-huahua. But today she has been leaking larger amounts. (like to the point I would have thought a dog relieved themselves inside) I will, of course, be taking her to the vet...

Re: Mischief 2 year old Pit/Lab/? ::Available::

Bummer! Poor Mischief. He is such a good boy, he deserves a home of his own. I hate dealing with asshats. This reminds me of the time I let those people in Pueblo take Lydia on a trail period and she escaped their yard (after I told them not to leave her outside unsupervised) and they wouldn't even ...
