Re: I don't know what to tittle this but... :(

Until you are working with a behaviorist or qualified professional you must manage her religiously. I wouldn't give up on her, or throw in the towel over one crappy day. Dogs sometimes have a bad day, and if she has fear issues maybe it was just too much for her. I know you are trying hard to become...

Re: Best tag clip?

I have this one http://www.berkeleypoint.com/products/hardware/gatesnap.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; There are a bunch of different clips on that site that may work. Thanks for the link. Maybe I will try a few different types. Maybe try a tag pouch? I have one that slides ont...

Best tag clip?

Need some suggestions for strong/reliable clips to attach dog tags to collars. I have yet to find one that can stand up to my dogs in the hills. In the last 6mo I have bought 4 ID tags for V, 3 for Lydia, and Rosen is on his 6th. The issue is that the clip makes the tag extra long and they get stuck...

Re: GOUGHNUTS Cannoli

  Thank You! I tried this and it worked! I bought the Cannoli and was super bummed, with the stick it was still too easy and even Chilli-huahua could clear it out in a matter of minutes. My smartest dogs were so over it after the first couple times they just inhaled the stuffing. T...

Re: When should i switch 2 adult kibbel ?

Your pup is beautiful, and in good shape! absolutely you can!!! My younger dogs started RAW as soon as they got here, I tried doing the puppy food, but it was too much work, it was easier for me to feed them RAW like the older dogs. Yup! Olive and Ginny (foster pit and mal) wer...

Re: crowd pleasing trick ideas

Are you thinking of one trick? or a series of tricks? There is some good ideas if you do some research on freestyle. I don't do the patterns to music, I just steal the trick part :) A friend trained her dog to behave like a marionette (she moves the wooden X thingy he lifts his paw, walks, hops, sta...

Bummer! I need a large pack, but we need it for backpacking/climbing. There just isn't enough room in the singletrack for Nora to carry all her stuff. :(

Re: Should I put a Halti on her?

I would find a new trainer. DA Dogs can be taught to behave in a civil manner on leash around other dogs. Why aren't they helping you with that? A competent trainer would have you stay off to the side, crate your dog, and/or explain the situation to other students so they do not encroach on Serenity.

Sweet! Thanks for the tips!

I have actually been struggling with this as well! Victoria is so much faster and more coordinated than me  she always sails right over the table.
