Wow! Your dogs are beautiful. Did you ever see the old show "The Flying Nun?" Sally Fields plays a nun whose headgear lets her fly. It looks like big pitbull ears. I always wanted a white girl I would name "Sister Bertrille". Little Dypper is the girl! But you got her, and her na...

I've done some obedience with Horace at that playground, when the weather is cold and no kids around, or on the trail behind it. Horace is still a learner, but so quick. He had some 'excitement-dominance-aggression' problems for a while but he has so learned to check himself! I should have known whe...

Horace and Rocky! Horace has that exact brown underlip patch. I'm trying to bleach that sucker white with smooches! It's too chocolatey and delicious!!!

Today I saw another Horace twin in the park -- a gorgeous 2yr. old boy. I said to his momma: "you have my babydaddy!"

In PGH

We live in Observatory Hill. Riverview Park is Horace's front yard. He runs those trails and hills with me every day. I throw sticks down the hillside and he tears down and up, down and up. How do you make a good puppy? Run him ragged! Do you know Lillian? She is the reason I have Horace. He's grown...

Horace at the shelter

They thought he was Gusto but his microchip said he was Link. Oh, he was rough for a while, but he's a great puppy. Still a goofy fellow.

Hi from Pittsburgh

Horace is approx. 5 months old, I adopted him from a shelter at 12 wks. His mom Daffy is mentioned elsewhere on these boards. She birthed her litter with a broken pelvis, the whole kit and kaboodle were taken from the home by Animal Police. I had two pit/pitmixes previously, I rescued both off the s...

Hi. I'm Robin from Pitts-burgh PA. I adopted Horace from a shelter on March 9. He's my third pit/pitmix; my previous two were adult street rescues. Horace was 12 weeks old when I adopted and he's a swell puppy, sweet and responsive and SO willing! I notice that puppy behavior means vicious behavior ...
