5 month old humping

Tomahawk just turned 5 months and recently likes to hump objects. Not all the time, but when they're present. He's never humped a human nor tried. He has tried to hump our mini schnauzer but we always corret that. So he hasn't done that in awhile. But what about objects?! Do I need to correct that a...

I've been seeing this diet alot, and been wanting to try it due to more recalls of pet food. I have 2 dogs that are complete opposites. Puppie, a 1 yo, 10 lb, mini schnauzer, and Tomahawk, a 5 month old, 25+ lb, APBT. I'm still flipping through reading all the posts, but I was wondering if the exper...

Has anyone in the Dallas area used, the MAC free spay/neuter coupon??? I found a vet that accepts it, but on it, it says it pay for the surgery and pain meds and that's it. So I would have to pay for office visit, anesthesia, and anything else, right?

its ok

 Dont worry. I understand the risks involved and wouldn't want anything to happen to my babies! I love them to death. :inlove: One, if not both, are crated when I'm not able to supervise, so they're use to it by now. I've always done crating since we brought Tomahawk home. Here's a pic of ...

Just venting, but having doubts

Ok, yesterday I took Tomahawk, my pit, and Puppie, my mini schnauzer, to a fenced park to run and play. All was great until we were leaving. Some guys across the street came over to admire Tomahawk.... Of course I got the normal questions... where'd i get him, am I going to breed him...blah bl...

I plan too, don't worry. I was just seeing if it could wait till friday, cause thats pay day and right now i'm broke. I've been checking the internet, could it possibly be hookworms? Cause he's perfectly normal, its just the blood. if no one saw his stool, you'd think he's fine.

thanks

Thanks guys! :) I have noticed when I go over there and grab the toy when they're growling and pulling, Tomahawk, my pit pup, will drop it, but my mini is the one holding on for dear life, but after I tell her "let go" she'll drop it. I'm slowly starting to learn what's play and not, becau...

Tug of War and dominance issues

I was wondering what are ya'lls views on letting dogs play tug o war. I have a 2 month old pit and 9 month old mini schnauzer, and as I type are playing tug of war with a rope toy. They both growling and shaking heads. So should I let this go on. Normally I DON'T, as soon as intense growling starts ...

Puppie

Well every now and then Puppie can get really dominant. She constinantly pin Tomahawk on the ground by his neck. He'll lay there and let her, and when he tries to get up she'll pin him again. But i've only seen her do that once so far. He's been with us for about a week. Other times he'll bother her...
