Re: leather bonding glue?

Have to agree! Just ah , make sure you do it outdoors or in a well ventilated room. The fumes will make you VERY slaphappy. LOL.

Re: Customer Appreciation Sale!

Wow! Well we are the bartering type as well (especially in this economy!) LOL. My other half does professional photography (I'm starting to learn), I can do excel stuff to some extent, both of us have leather handling/tooling/crafting experience in various areas, and both of us can do data entry, lol!

Re: Royal Canin food

Toby has only been on Purina Pro Sensitive Stomach Salmon flavor food since being weaned. He's never blown his coat, it's always gorgeous, doesn't poop an awful lot, isn't gassy, stool is firm, doesn't get hives, and he looks GORGEOUS on it. His breeder has tried every method of feeding and told me ...

Re: She tells time, but not MY time

I agree with Stormi. Look at it this way ... EVERY single time you cave and do what she wants ... you are TRAINING her that if she pushes and bugs you ENOUGH - that you WILL do as SHE wishes. It's just like kids. They push to see where and when you say NO. MORE. Nada. Zip. Fini. Yes it means having ...

I'm glad she is okay!

BTW ... you spent your money responsibly IMO! Your parents just aren't seeing the lesson that being responsible for another living creature sometimes mean we choose them over ourselves, that's all.

Knowing it was rusty metal that caused the cut - then, yeah I'd take Toby to the vet.

Dogs can get tetanus too, after all.

Re: Parvo Preventative Tips

Have to say that whether or not the advice in here is something that is medically advisable or not - I found the statements about vets and money to be REALLY distasteful and nasty. Also I'm sorry but I felt that someone needed to step up and point out what seems to get ignored most of the time. They...

Oops! That should have read:
Someone at home with them asleep while they are loose in a room is the SAME exact thing as them loose in a room and no one is home.

Re: Chewing freak!!

That isn't going to stop them from eating foreign objects and needing vet care or just dying a horrible painful death. Sleeping = UNsupervised. Period. Someone at home with them while they are loose in a room is the SAME exact thing as them loose in a room and no one is home. With the exception that...

Re: Go ahead - brag a little!

I was interested in trying lure courses with Toby, until I heard a long list of folks whose dogs wound up getting injured doing it.

Now I'm thinking maybe not such a good idea for the Tobareno, he is a rather burly powerful little runner.

Re: The vet almost killed Ivy yesterday.

I am SO glad to hear that she is doing better! YaY Ivy!! Just a note too ... ALL medical personnel, whether it is human medicine OR animal medicine, ALL doctors, nurses, technicians, etc etc have their own personal bone pile. EVERY one. It's called being human and making a mistake or things just pil...
