Pain in the Butt "literally"

Moxy has an open wound on her anus...I am pretty sure it is from her dragging her bottom on the sand and under the pine tree's after a clinger...

Anyone have suggestions on cleaning, keeping it clean and how to keep the bugs away...

it does not seam to affect her defication!

If you have any of those test tube type shot glasses...they hold 3 tsp's perfectly and work great for administering the peroxide!! had to do it again today :)

I was putting in my supplement order the other day and realized how benificial Flax see oil and flax can be in dogs with skin issues. I have a whole box of ground flax seed and a bottle of flax seed oil pills...I talked to my Holistic vet she said that it is fine that I give her some of what I have ...

You can also fast your dog for a day...It allows the digestive tract to correct itself....I generally use a 1 day fast for stool problems...I have also used pumpkin too.

depending on where you get your information different sites are off by a little...Any thing above 103 or below 100 is abnormal...

it should be around 100-102.5 is considered to be normal

We delt with this about a month ago...Lela had what we are thinking was a reaction to a bug bite...but we are still not sure. It started out with a few m&m size bumps on her head...So I called to get approval from our rescue to have her looked at...when I got home a few hours later they had gone...

One last thing I swear...My vet also stopped almost all of her shots except for rabies and they take a toll on the imune system, so it gives her a chance to heal herself with out aggravating the problem.. Another reason to work with a vet is the ivermectin can cause problems with heartwork treatment...
