She never makes them squeak on purpose, but if someone inadvertently steps on one she immediately c...

Re: Vocal Playing

I'd work on making sure she will respond to you when she is over-stimulated so you can call her away for a brief time-out if she gets too amped up. My dogs are both very vocal when they play, and they seem to be completely appropriate with each other. If the other dog is getting tense, maybe it's a ...

Re: New rescued brat with severe skin issues

Well, there's a lot of medical research and basis for my suggestion, I didn't just make it up. It kills MRSA and many other antibiotic-resistant bacteria that nothing else works on. Medihoney is an FDA approved wound ointment. http://www.medihoney.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ...

Re: New rescued brat with severe skin issues

Do you think washing/ soaking feet would help? I heard Epsom salt or apple cider vinegar solutions with watermay help, but I worried about irritating skin further. Though I read that peroxide, borax and water solution was a treatment for mange. So I don't know. I don't have a lot of ideas, but than...

Honestly, she looks pretty good to me. I'd meet with her and get a feel for her methods, at least. She looks qualified and kind-hearted.

Re: Panic/Frustration and Redireting?

I personally think just feeding her treats when she's in that state is just going to be encouraging the nervous/fearful behavior. That's just my two cents though. I just moved out of an apartment that was in an old house, no insulation and hardwood floors. My landlord and her kid lived above me. I ...
