Re: Supplements and Vitamins

Personally I have a hard enough time trusting the quality of supplements made for me, no way am I going to trust the quality of a brand made for my dog. So when I have given my dogs supplements they get it from the same bottle I do. Now obviously there are cases where they need stuff especially for...

Re: Supplements and Vitamins

There's a few good threads on this topic in the Health section. It really depends on the dog's individual needs, allergies, medical considerations, etc. What are you wanting the supplements for? http://pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=152004&p=1991950&hilit=supplements#p1991950" oncl...

Re: Multiple Issues - Help?

We are slowly making progress with her, she's learning her manners a little better and listening to commands MUCH better now, I only wish I could figure out a way to keep her from going completely psycho when either of us come home or a "new" person comes over. She settles pretty quickly,...

Re: What do you think of head collars? Like the Gentle Lead

I think they can be a good tool for the right dog, when used correctly along with the proper training. My dog has a tendency to startle and bolt at the end of her leash (certain noises that we are working with her on), so I don't feel they are safe to use for her.

Re: Tucker doesn't like kibble ...

I am dealing with the same issue, but again with a cat, not a dog. We bailed on the idea of the expensive food altogether since he refused to eat it. He was already on a good, high quality diet and I didn't like the ingredients in the Purina Rx diet very much. We opted to use Methigel in his regular...

Re: Are you the Pack Leader? No, seriously.

Wow, great reads Amie. I followed all the links and read all the articles. I was particularly interested in the LCK articles. And on another note; so it is Lorenz; the cute little old man with the ducks that we have to blame for this dominance debacle? Boy talk about 1 person unintentionally doing ...
