Re: Fleas!

A bath in plain old Dawn dish soap. Leave lather to sit on the coat for about 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly. This will kill any live fleas on the pet at that time. It's what we do for kittens/puppies too young for conventional flea treatment. Yes i heard about this and did it with my german shepard d...

Re: antihistimines for dogs

Hmm... Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I have a question... You wrote about Lotradine, I googled it and it's basically Claritin which I can get here (I'm from Europe too so I also can't get Benedryl)... That's safe for dogs? Brina has some mild problems with allergies when she rubs her belly o...

More severe allergies will require allergy testing and immunotherapy, or long-term steroids or cycl...

Re: Cash's Anxiety...

Hope cash feels better soon, if he keeps eating at this tail i would think about anxiety meds, its better then letting them cut a part of his tail I don't want to amputate his tail either. But at this point, it's not about anxiety. It's about making sure he doesn't get an infection, doesn't get sep...

Re: Tucker doesn't like kibble ...

Does anyone have any super-finicky eaters? What do you feed? Do you do the "eat when he's hungry" thing, even if the dog seems like he's content to nibble his regular food and chow down on however many training treats he can get in the course of a day? I don't do the ''eat when he's hungr...
