Has anyone heard of this test? The possibilities for its uses frighten the hell out of me. Is anyone aware of any mu...

Not trying to steal your thread but I was just wondering can a dog still get kennel cough if they had the vaccination given? Jake has been going to daycare two days a week and he has been acting very weird. He coughs and he licks his lips alot. I think he has some new teeth growing in so I don't kn...

Not to mention the litter cannot be great for them. I found if you get one of the cat boxes with a cover and place the opening facing the wall, the cats can get in, but the dogs cannot. One of my dogs loved cat poo and would drag it all over the house, it was absolutely disgusting.....

Stress can do that (the same kind of stress that would occur moving homes) as well as changes in food. Sounds like both have occurred in the recent past. What kind of parasites were in the fecal? Giardia? Coccidia? Worms? And what was given to treat for it? Metronidazole? An antibiotic? etc. Honestl...

I just found out from my vet that my dog apparently had a seizure from the anesthesia when she was spay 3 years ago. Why they are just telling me this now, I do not know. He brother started having seizures after he was neutered, and they got so bad, they had to put him to sleep. In any case, we did ...

What about whipworm? There is no way to test for it as they shed like 1 day out of 60. Due to the fact they are almost undetectable, the only way to test for them is to treat for them and see if the situation improves. Most regular wormers do not treat whipworm (for ex. Frontline Plus, or anything w...

So, does the OP have 2 dogs now? Or is the pup he had in previous posts when he was asking about breeding and this dog his cousin just gave him one in the same? No offense, but OP if you are BYBing dogs, you are not going to get too much help on this forum. I see dollar signs all over your name, is ...

Yes, the can get pregnant at anytime while in heat. I would say chances are pretty good.

Now, 2 questions for you:

1. Why was she not spay?
2. Why did you sit and watch for half an hour, rather than intercede?

Ket is right, Shelby will not allow herself to starve when food is available (just not her preferred type). It is hard, and you may be worried, but you have to be strong, knock it off with all the treats, give her no other option than to eat HER food. Pups are just like human babies. I have an 11 mo...

You said she eats fast, does she inhale her food? This can very well cause the issue as I have a little one that is about 5-6 months old that will do the same thing. One of my dogs at 2.5 years old still inhales, which is one of the reasons I switched to RC Bulldog. It is S shaped, so it is very har...
