Is it common for AmStaff & APBT to get blocked anal glands ? ? Are they more pron to it? How do you prevent it from happening? Is it a diet issue?

I took Tonka in this afternoon, and yes it was her 'anal glands' ... the vet said they were packed :sad: :oops: They asked me if I wante dto watch and see how to do it, and I kindly refused ... Nothing against people who are able to do it, I just don't see my self being able to. Plus too the vet tec...

No, I havent noiticed anything ...
Earlier today we were at my work, and walking down the hall-way, and she just dropped her rear down and started to drag it. We had been in side for a while ...

and ewwwwwwwwww to having to pull it yourself :oops:

My Tonka is 7 months old, she is up to date on all shots. I have had her de-wormed several times since getting her. The first couple rounds the vet said she didnt have any, but just to be safe :thumbsup: I have noticed the past few days she will drag her big ol' booty on the the floor, carpet or gro...
