Is there a way you can make a double clipped utility lead with multiple D rings on the body? Similar to a police or obedience style utility lead? http://www.kzinc.com/ShopSite/page4.html That is one example (scroll down to police lead) Some have just one floating D ring. Others have multiple fixed D...

Yes, stay away. That is a backyard breeder. In fact, anyone who sells pet pups for under $500 and will give you a pup without asking you a lot of questions and/or making you fill out an application and sign a contract is a backyard breeder I would advise you to steer clear from. You can go to a shel...

Yep. It's marketed to upper middle / lower upper clientele. When you look at most private dog services in the area, it's only slighttly higher hour/price wise (including report writing).

Apparently, Redding didn't get the memo. Of course, once they figure it out they can't do an outright ban, I'm sure they'll do the next best thing - mandatory, no exception spay or neuter until there are hardly anymore left in Redding. What was it Jackie Speier said - surely counties will make reaso...

OMg, we passed!!!!!!! The judge said she did everything with flying colors. I peaked at the score sheet, and she got mostly 6's. There was one 4 where she was meeting a friendly stranger. She just stood there and didn't express much interest in person. Judge gave me some pointers at the end, so we ...

It's hard to diagnose over the Internet, as you know, but I would guess that a good part of her reaction was the grabbing of the collar. There are two things I usually do with dogs (well, there are more than two things, but these are the general two things that seem to work the best for the most num...

From that thread- We've been very clear about BR's involvement (published on our website in Jan 2006) but strong emotions keep muddying the topic ... We were specifically involved in re-tooling the preamble of the bill to outline the intent of the bill and to remove the 'dangerous and vicious' lang...

I had been told by my vet that when you take the reproductive organs from pets too early you are depriving their bodies of important growth and development hormones. This is one of those common sense things. Testosterone does essentially the same thing in dogs that is does in humans (as just one ex...

Two of the kennels in the back are very heavy gauge chain link with a top and many, many ties on the bottom. I haven't had a problem with them, but neither of my dogs are one of those super-duper houdini escape artists that will tear through dry wall and work the chain link all day....so.... I can't...
