Watchout. She shouldn't be running on there to long. That's how I injured my dog's knee. He got luxating patella from me being stupid and making him run like crazy on his treadmill. I'd wait atleast a year old for your dog to be running on it again. The joints are still growing. My dog's joints are ...

Is Bones and Raw Food bad for you?

I found this interesting article... http://secondchanceranch.org/rawmeat.html#benefits Just wanted to get everyones opinions on this. I've fed my dog raw foods a couple of times. He loves it. And I don't see no big problem with it. The other day I was arguing with a couple of people about BARF diets...

First off, try not feed your dog raw meat because raw meat do contain harmful bacterias and protozoas such as Coccidia. I've never heard of that. This is what I've read about Coccidia... Where do Coccidia Come From? Oocysts (pronounced o'o-sists), like those shown above, are passed in stool. In the...

Stitch told me he did it so I wouldn't have to cut the grass. How thoughtful of him.

I was actually just reading about a recent study(in humans) that showed that stretching does not help prevent injuries. I've heard that before, too, but it goes against a lot of anecdotal evidence that I've heard from people. Since I am a runner, it's of interest to me, and as I rarely take time to...

Went to the vet on friday. Vet said he has luxating patella. But it's not serious. So he doesn't need surgery. He said he injured his leg and I kept on making him do physical stuff when his leg wasn't healed up. He has to rest for 14 days and the vet gave him some pain killers. I also bought some gl...

Is this hereditary? You think food could play a factor in this? I switched from Wellness Super 5 Mix Chicken to Wellness Fish and Sweet Potato prolly a month or two ago. I just read the ingredients on the Fish and Sweet Potato and it doesn't contain Glucosamine Chondroitin. But the Super 5 Mix Chick...

Damn it just happened again! He just got off my bed and I saw him lifting that same leg again. So I grabbed it and slowly bent it and it popped into place! I'm gonna try to get him to a vet next week. I guess him doing some weight pull is out the door.
