I bought, for the first time, the Canidae wet food tonight (at Pet Supplies Plus, which means your local store can get it for you!)

Damn.....my dogs ate it up like nothing else. Yes, they like the nutro...but this stuff was gone in no time. I think I'll alternate on and off....but I was impressed.

Exactly as I was told to do. I teach them to come with a treat...and only when they come to me automatically, and sit at attention, do they recieve their reward.

Heal is new to me, which is why I asked.

Read the side of a bag of Canidae....it's called PAWS formula....and although I'm still clueless about the full meaning........I know PUPPIES ADULTS AND SENIORS work thier way into it! Ah, I ended a sentence with a preposition. Anyway, I've learned that puppy food is all hype. Ever since I stopped f...

Loon, the Pet Supplies Plus on the north side in Broad Ripple has it. That's where I go. It's $35 for a 40lb bag. That's not bad, considering I'm paying like $31 for a 35 lb bag of Nutro Natural Ultra. It doesn't seem like bad food, though, and it's available locally, and we get some discounts on i...

We've been working over the last month or so. Their basic commands consist of SIT, LAY, STAY, CRAWL, and he can shake and give high fives. She dances....it's cute.

Effective way to teach "come" and "heal"

With both my dogs, a 5 month old APBT and a 4 month old Boston Terrier, I'm having problems with overall control. The Boston understands "come" but sometimes choses to ignore it!!!! Damn her! And Ralph, the pit.....he just stares at me endlessly without any understanding. And with "heal," it typical...

The guy at my store calles it CAN-A-DAY so I'm going with that.

And wow, 40 lbs for $30 is cheaper than even our discount outlet here. I think I got 20 lbs. for like $18.90

Thanks for the help. I have very little worries about Ralph going after the Boston. What I failed to mention is that he then switches to eating out of her bowl....the SAME DAMN THING. It's amusing to watch..they switch on and off for about 10 minutes. The Boston knows when she's full and he'll quiet...

I don't know how happy he's going to be going from one foster to the next. Currently he's in a foster home, but sadly, it's not a foster home with the ability or desire to keep him. I'm really trying to help a woman named Kelly who I met at PetSmart last week. I'm hoping to find him a home...but I'l...

Good, while you're staring at the bag, remind me what it stands for. Well, here's what I do. We feed him twice a day...about a cup each time. Also, he gets about 1 tablespoon of wet food mixed in to coat the dry food. He grew 11.5 pounds from Dec. 13th to Jan 11th! I know he needs more, but I'm foll...
