mnp13 wrote:Try a big cotton rope. We have one that is about 1.5 inches thick and 3 feet long on Connor's spring pole. He loves it... but he'll tug on ANYTHING so it's not much of a challenge to get him to play.

You're lucky...I did try a rop...but I had to wrap a smelly sock around it to get them to jump.

Re: QUICK WEIGHTPULL QUESTION!!!

I'm putting together materials for our shelter's weightpull this summer. I have two quick questions. What weight is used as a starting point? I'm assuming this is dependent on the weight of the dog? And also, in what increments is weight added to the pull cart? Thanks! The one we were at over the w...

Whoo hoo....my ex's old smelly sock worked. Both Ruby and Ralph were jumping around and biting today. Now, if only they would go after something that won't rip so easily.

Damn't...can't get them to spring pole!

So I finally spent the $25 or so dollars and built myself a spring setup. So, none of the dogs will touch the tire biter. Ironically, if I take it off the spring....they're all over it. At least the neighbor's pit/staffy mix came over and had fun. She took right to it. Any suggestions? I baited with...

I use Canidae for meals, and wellness fish and potato in her buster cube. I'm not sure which does better for her. I really like Canidae, I was mixing it with Nutro lame and rice, but now she's on straight Canidae for meals and her coat just keeps getting better and better. I had tried some Wellness...
