If it is parvo it would have a really bad smell.

It could be a number of things. Whipworms, parvo, coccidia......

I would make a visit to the vet.

You may have to get some metal bolt snaps from the hardware store to secure the opening(door) to the crate itself so if he jiggles the locks on crate loose it will still be secure with the bolt snaps.

I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. lol

I hope Gus feels better soon.

I checked on http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/ and the Natural Balance Venison and Sweet Potato is about the same price we pay here locally. They also have a program called Simplify Life Automatic Delivery Program - Weekly Interval and you save an extra 10% for having your food delivered to your home o...

Maybe you could order it online. I know that onlynaturalpet.com has free shipping on orders over $75. I don't know if their prices are reasonable. You can go to http://www.naturalbalance.net/ and click on the shop online tab at the top of the web page in red and compare prices and see who else offer...

<------- Nuts does great on the venison and sweet potato version since he moved across the street with my MIL. He never had firm stools until he went on this food and he was even on prescription dog food for loose stools.

I just love that they make treats with limited ingredients too.

Sounds like staph to me too. If your dogs immune system is too weak to fight it and they continue to get worse you could get antibiotics (Cephalexin) from your vet to clear up the bacterial infection but make sure your vet keeps your dog on the antibiotic long enough. They usually should take antibi...

Thanks, I just lucked out because we have several meat distributors locally. Is bison basically just like beef or is there a difference in the meat?
I thought about getting some bison for the dogs but didn't want to pay the difference if they offer the same nutritional value.

It probably was the laundry detergent ME. Glad Ruby is doing better. Ok, now I have a question. I feed chicken, turkey, beef and pork. But, I feed only beef hearts and pork hearts for meaty meat when I feed them those protein sources. Is that okay or should I be feeding other parts of the cow and pi...
