I am worried about the red on his flesh above his nails too. Its from excessive chewing. I will monitor him through the weekend and most likely I will be calling the vet

you are still gonna hear an array of different opinions as when you were doing a search.

Me, personally, I would suggest a few: Wellness, Solid Gold, Timberwolf, Natures Variety, Canidae, Merrick. I dont think you can go wrong if you go with any of these

sorry to butt in, but I think I have the same problem with my pup. I doubt its food alergy, cuz he is obsessed only with his back paws (he can chew them and lick them for 15 min. straight) and it seems like he is even losing some hair and has some red sores around few of his nails. This is how it lo...

I would not walk a 4 month puppy for 20-30 minutes, so I wouldn't put one on a treadmill, either. The most walking I'd do with a pup that age is a short walk for leash training. Young pups should get their exercise through free play. I read somewhere that you can walk a pup 5 min for each month. 4m...

he looks sooooo cute :inlove: and just right, not skinny  About the TW and adding the meat.....you can feed him raw one meal a day instead of the kibble. Thats what I've done. Maybe someone else will have another suggestion

So....what would you suggest when the pup is getting into the "crazy" moods and lets say, at that time your 2 yo is sleeping or you are feeding her and you just cant go take the pup for a nice long walk? When she is sleeping I play with him no problem. I'd tether him to a hook in the wall...

I found out myself that the dog wearing harness and a leash around my jeans belt work miracles for pulling. I have tried short leash and a collar and it usually works, but not when I need to walk slow because my 2 yo walks like a turtle.

I wouldn't put a dog on a treadmill until is was at around one year, depending on the dog of course. So....what would you suggest when the pup is getting into the "crazy" moods and lets say, at that time your 2 yo is sleeping or you are feeding her and you just cant go take the pup for a ...

Yes, I do. I dont make him run. Just walking for about 20-30 min a day when its too cold outside or when I cant leave the house because I am busy around my 2 and 5 yo daughters. Is it wrong? And if it is, why? A four month old puppy is not up to that, puts too much stress on growing joints. I prett...

I think a treadmill walk for 20-30 minutes would be okay for a puppy-wouldn't it be about the same as a regular long walk?
