When they are all doped up they seem ten times worse than they really are, I learned this when my ferret had surgery, she looked terrible! The next day she was back to being a brat not wanting to stay still like she had too, she's not a dog but I imagine it's similar, the drugs really screw with them.

Jersey is probably around 45 pounds, she was 53 when I got her and now is down to a better weight, she was free fed Pedigree before and now she gets 1 cup Canidae twice a day plus a treat.

Those are some lucky boys to find a loving home for two senior pups together, I'm so happy for them and so angry at their previous owners, how could they just dump off decade old members of their family like that? :crybaby: I could never imagine doing that. Big thanks to the lady that opened her hea...

That poor dog. :crybaby: I hope your sister doesn't get any more pets until she's more prepared and learned some responsibilty. Or just no more pets at all if that's unlikely. If she wasn't so stubborn he would have been safe with you and not dead.

It's just like any animal, if you cage them up they are going to act crazy when first let out, tons of pent up energy to burn and this pups has never had proper socialization or leash training. Teaching a dog something only works if you continue that act, he'll never behave nice on a leash unless he...

I have dog mace, I work at the post office and all our carriers have some at all times so I figured it must work. I haven't had to use it thankfully, most dogs head the other way when my foot comes flying at them.

I bought some nasty tasting real peanut butter that's organic from the grocery store, we felt kinda silly buying $5 fancy peanut butter for the dog but I also thought the regular kind was probably too high in salt and other bad stuff.

I'm lucky, Jersey sees the prong and gets all excited about going out for a walk! I would try letting her come to it and giving treats, that's what I'm doing right now but with the winter booties, it's actually working better than I thought it would.

Pups ready to go at six weeks! :po: That's too young, not even legal in many states to sell at that age.
