Re: looking for a 'pit bull proof' pet/baby gate

I think that's the same one I have, but if you run into it or it's off at all it won't close all the way, I think she could still go over though, all of my dogs can if they really want to and the younger female will jump on it just right and can open it. You can put film over the windows to block he...

Re: looking for a 'pit bull proof' pet/baby gate

I don't think there's a gate a pit bull can't shove through or jump if they are determined enough. What's the need? You can't put up a door or keep the dog in a kennel or crate?

Re: Sam - another great dog

Man he sounds like a dream, someone's gotta want such a easygoing boy. Read his bio and watched that video, that's weird about his gait when you first got him, maybe just because he'd never gotten to run around like that or what?

Re: Concerned.... Runty won't stop shaking

The near future? Your dog has been shaking for days, lethargic, hardly eating or drinking and you think you'll see the vet in "the near future"? You should be there already, there could be something seriously wrong with your dog.

Re: cant keep dogs of furniture

Put a cover on. I really don't see a way you can keep them off when you're not there. This or contain the dogs, there's no way I'd be leaving them together unsupervised. We leave Jersey out by herself downstairs and usually find her curled up on a chair when we get home. Lately she doesn't even wai...

Re: Anyone knows what happened to petesdoggear.com?

Seems like the easier thing to do would have been just simply refund people's money. Even if you are having a hard time, contacting a few people is not that much to ask over the course of a year imo. I read her post on pbt. She's gotten divorced, remarried, had adventures, moved, but she can't email...

Re: Nero had a seizure

sounds like the last seizure description/paragraph on this link http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-angels.com/CanineEpil.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Interesting, yes it does. I was really hoping it would be a one time thing, we are worried about him hurting himself in the cr...

Re: 3 Months post knee surgery

I think the vet would have to check it out. I don't know what surgery he had done but my girl had a tplo and the surgeon said they are pretty durable, takes a lot for a dog to actually wreck them although it does happen. Hopefully just pulled or strained something, you can probably call and ask, her...

Re: Nero had a seizure

The first time he did it we thought he was chasing a bug, but he's not. But yes, it's exactly the same behavior although more erratic than if he was after a bug . My b/f thought maybe it was eye goobers too, he often has them but I made a point to check today and didn't see anything, could be like f...
